Robby, What you have purchased is a "Genesis Clone". "DID" is a trade name, like "Coke", although many people who drink "Cola" call it "Coke", it is not..... same thing. Thanks, for that, I was just trying to use a term that would let people know what I was looking for.

It`s clear that the perfect vaping experience is different for everyone. But that is no different from the ciggies, hence hundreds of different brands and we all had one favourite basically. Indeed..... for me it was Dunhill International.

I have neither but from watching videos on various genesis atomizers, it looks like the asthetics is one thing, but also some have the ability to configure them differently like to turn a tank one into a dripping atomizer, also the aga-t might have the same materials but some of the more expensive ones have like thicker metals and maybe threads that will last longer too. I guess if u kept them in good condition tho they could last ages. One thing against the more expensive ones tho, is some are really rare so ull be waiting a while to get them, also if u like to have many flavours on the go u'd ned to buy quite a few, unless u switch the flavours in them. I guess if ur gonna go for the best vape too ud also need to get the best flavours to start with, like either already made or diy and test out various pg/vg ratios, flavour ratios, adding sweetner, vape wizard, ph balance etc afaik the aga-t takes u wicks, dual coils and can put silica and mesh and any other type of new materials they come up with

I look at the prices of some of these things and find it so hard to justify spending so much money when I can get the basics and fiddle with it to see if I can improve MY vaping experience. It`s another important part of the whole vaping thing for me, it is now a hobby, whereas smoking was a NEED.

The clones are OK as you say to test out what Genesis Attys are all about.... they are a good way to "Dip your toe in the water". If you like the genesis style with SS wicks etc and can see the potential, but want to get the best, then I would agree you can then upgrade and Go DID. There are loads of Harley look alikes out there, but none produce that extra "grin factor" that a real Harley gives you when riding. I find it is the same with vaping on a DID. (I ride a Harley, and vape DIDs). You saying the DID is going to leak all over the garage floor and cost twice as much to repair? I keed I keed.

thats true, like some are 100+ or 150+ - the idea i guess is ull never hav to buy another one, but that doesnt seem to work in practice hehe, some people have massive collections of them and mods too, like i saw a collection of goldengreek mods that must have cost 1000s, not including the attys even. I suppose u could save money still from cigs depending on how many years uve been collecting them and how much u smoked before, in the uk especially

I suppose u could save money still from cigs depending on how many years uve been collecting them and how much u smoked before, in the uk especially Yes, I bought the VAMO to get a constant power level source and the full set and two excellent Vivi Novas cost me £30. It`s not the prettiest device in the world, but it does exactly what I want out of it, my basis was always going to be constant power level. After getting such variable results from power sources that just keep altering the vape and flavour as you used up the battery made all that impossible. So that was my first need sorted. I am now moving on to the wicking side of things and wanted to try SS mesh. This thing is £8 shipped! The price of a packet of coffin nails. So yes, it`s about messin, fiddling, altering etc etc lolol. But that`s just me and the way I like to do things. Another, probably more important point is that this new interest has helped me to quit the ciggies in a big way

I have 4 GGTS's (one of them is a very rare alloy one). Andsome other expensive £200+ mods too... not to mention the cost of the atties, bits and bobs.... Gezzzz.... over £2,000 worth I guess.

And god knows what more tru every week seems to be new items, at least they can be used as spares or sticking some flavours that arnt gonna b used too often. Ulimately its better than ending up with empty packs of cigs after spending that much on them

Wow nice, yea id like to get a ggts at some point and some of their attys too, most people ask me whether im saving money on real cigs which isnt going to happen for a while lol and whether im cutting down also and with all the different attys to try out and various juices, that isnt happening either

Hopefully I'm not going to be spending ££££ although at the moment that's all I seem to be doing . I really don't understand why some buy 2/3 or more DIDs . Spheroids etc etc . they are well made and not likely to break . I have forked out for Touchwood and will get a Caravela plus a high end genesis atomiser , mainly because they are quality and should last a lifetime ( and they look fantastic) . After that I'd be happy with just a couple of cheap clones to play with and hopefully my spending will come to an end .

Another reason I have for getting one of these is that they look so easy to re coil!!. I have really big hands and making new coils does my head in lol One end is fixed as far as I can tell, so really looking forward to that
