Hello Dave & welcome I agree with Giles, I think you may need more like 24mg juice. If you found 24mg too strong, you could always cut it down with some vegetable glycerine (though that does cut the flavour as well).

Sound advice. Call me stupid but it's my gut feeling 18mg just won't cut it for you and try and get a mostly (like over 70%) PG (propylene glycol) juice as that tends to give better throat hit

I agree on the juice strength, as an ex cigar smoker myself, I use at least 24mg and often 36mg strength. This is because I vape like I smoked - just the occasional puff, but I like a good whack when I do!
You may also find you get on better with low resistance clearomisers or cartomisers i.e. about 2ohm rather than the standard resistance stuff which is around 3 ohms.

Hi Dave , welcome to the madhouse ,only joking, cracking bunch of peeps here and yes that kit Des suggests looks like a good starting point, wish something like that at that price was available when I started 18 months ago, I started with a 901. As for strength again yes try 24mg, you can move up or down depending on how you find it. As for juice if you want a cigar flavour might I sugest T Juice Cubana, its the closest I've come across to a cigar

Cheers for all the welcome, and the great advice. The selection pack of 20 flavours is 18mg I think, but the kit I bought does come with some 24mg juice, so can try them both, then off to buy a lower oHm to search for that hit.

That looks like a brilliant deal !
I paid about £5 more and only got two 650Mah Ego Battery's in mine.
On the mg of nicotine thing,
- If it's too high - you'll feel dizzy and sick for 10 minutes - If it's too low - you'll light up a cigar.
Neither is a massive problem, simply place another order for the correct one and try again when it arrives.
(Giving up Cigars) Is a Marathon not a sprint as they say.
