I had a wick already made up for something else and it fit perfectly so mine fired up straight away too, my airhole def doesn't line up though, it's smack in the middle of both holes so will get on to sanding it down later. Nice looking little aga this one, sits nicely on a twist. Going to be a great little juice tester Cheers macca n perps, you haven't failed me yet

The airhole is out on mine also so had to sand it down. Getting a weird taste though even though I cleaned it before setting up so will have to wash it again. Nice atty though and the size is great. Am very happy with it Cheers

Also very happy here, air hole is a little out but soon remedied, a very good performer.

I'm liking the AGA-S , set it up no probs first time, the only downer really is the SS tank, would prefer to see what I got left. The silicon sleeve from the co-op I left in there but does take away a bit of juice capacity so may remove it next recoil or use something a little thinner walled. Great stuff tho, very pleased

Haven't got round to doing mine yet, but for a silica wick would it not be the same set up as the Aga-t, using the terminal post ???

Have about 8 of the Chinese atty's and to date....not one has had the airhole line up.
Starting to think the laws of averages are against me but usually it is close enough for me to move the cap a little and still be secured if not I add an o ring and done.
Trying not to buy anymore for a while until they significantly change.

I've got this going really well with silica today. I doubled up some 3mm wick and wrapped the coil (0.2 Nichrome) very close to the fold, stuck one piece down the hole and trimmed the other wick tail. I used the tall negative post - the main thing to be careful of is that the coil doesn't touch the posts. The air hole doesn't line up on mine but it is fine unscrewed about half a turn as long as you don't mind a bit of red O ring showing I'm impressed! I'll give it a go with mesh eventually, but I'm having a bit of a holiday from that just lately - so flipping temperamental!

I am also finding mesh very temperamental lately :'(I am mainly struggling with the dreaded top coil hotspot and can't seem to shake it off no matter how i adjust my setup.Would you be kind enough to add a photo Dave as i really want to give a silica wick a go and would love to see your setup if it is working well.I have heard so many people say its crap using a silica wick which has always put me off trying one.

It or any other device is not crap using silica wick..It works and vapes fine.
A SS mesh wick simply offers a better experience, especially with tobacco flavors and is easy to clean and lasts longer.
