righto, I'll take a look at that vid when the time comes. I've been reading about fraying the wick to improve performance, anyone tried this...anyone even know what it means? haha cos i don't have a clue. Not that the one I'm using has performance issues, far from it, just interested to know for future in case any don't work as good as this one. They are class though, a full tank should get me through the full day tomorrow easy. Really impressed

I'd imagine 'fraying' means unravelling the fabric of the wick material, to get it to perform better Buck.

lol Perpy so hard blocking it out my mind though.Oh well another week will soon pass. Bucko,i did that today.Cleaned my clearo and fluffed out the wick.Just use your fingernail to do it.To be perfectly honest though i dont think it needs done.It made no difference to my clearo whatsoever. It works perfect out the pack, seems daft to mess with it really.

Another clearning tip for you Bucko. Getting the little bung out the first time is a right PITA so when I put it all back together I put that plug in upside down and it still works like a charm. Havent noticed any differince to how it works doing this but makes subsequent cleans easier.

Can someone link me to the best clearo to pop on my GD-PT 5v, please? I'm presently reduced to using an 808 carto, it's like getting blood out of a stone > Many thanks, scylla

Scylla they are no good at 5v.Unless you like a burnt taste.I put the cloud 9 3-3.2ohm ones on my 101 and it was like vaping burnt toast. I need my Provari, reckon they will be good at 4-4.2volt.5v is to much for them.

Have to agree with Ian again (we are like clearo twins ). I like the vape with clearos much better on the Tornado batts rather than the Riva batts even though there is not meant to be that much between them. Cant say I would fancy them with 5v.

Thanks for the tips on the clearos guys I've not had to do any tinkering yet. On my 3rd fill, and am still at the gobsmacked stage hehe. They're absolutely fantastic.

I wouldnt advise using any clearos at 5v,they dont work well at all.I hope they bring some out that work well at 5v in the future though. They come in 2.2-2.4ohm lowest resistance up to 3-3.2 ohm highest resistance.3-3.2ohms should be ok at 5v by rites, but they are not a nice vape, burning taste is horrid. These things work perfect at 3.7v.

Would the standard Boge carto's be best do you think Ian?
Trying to find something that Scylla can use at 5v, other than standard atomisers.

Yes Perpy.Standard Boge cartos are a dream at 5v.I have 20 of my 510 boge cartos saved for my Provari.Them KR8 cartos are the worst i have ever used.I still have a few unused ones here awaiting the bin, or free to a good home.lol, hardly worth posting though, unless you like silk cut.

No offense to silkcut mate,i was trying to think of how to describe the vape of a KR8 carto.Hmm,disappointing, pointless and bland Yep,that just about sums it up.I was a heavy Drum and GV smoker,so if someone handed me a silkcut i would just laugh and tell them to stick it.
