I wouldnt advise using any clearos at 5v,they dont work well at all.I hope they bring some out that work well at 5v in the future though. They come in 2.2-2.4ohm lowest resistance up to 3-3.2 ohm highest resistance.3-3.2ohms should be ok at 5v by rites, but they are not a nice vape, burning taste is horrid. These things work perfect at 3.7v. Hmmm... why at 5v?? It seems that clearos work best at around 6 watts (for me, at least), and that's very easily achievable at 3.4 volts - if you want hotter, then go for a lower resistance on an 18650. Simply upping the voltage and then upping the resistance is not the way to go...

Cheers for the advice Dave,i will take that on board and not push the clearos on the Provari.TBH they are working really well on my 18650 batterys anyway, much better vape than my 14500 mods give.

Something that is puzzling me is the reaction of different e-liquids to different attys.
I am just vaping some of Paradise 'Dunhill' in a standard Tornado Tank atty and it's great.
Stick it in the LR atty and it's disgusting. One decent vape followed by one burnt to a crisp. I am finding that I need to dry prime between drags.
Is this the make up of the liquid or a less than happy atty?

Btb, the LR atties burn a lot hotter than standard atties so you need to keep them nice & wet. Even doing so, you will loose some flavour with LR's. Welcome to Dave (Hifistud)

Aldo, Nowt is a North of England slang word for nothing Btb, from memory, when you register it only accepts lower case for your user id. However, you can change how your name displays by altering it in your profile. But I think you will still have to log in using lower case.

Me thinks that "nowt" is probably Old or Middle English, rather than slang. Have you ever tried to read Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales" in it's original Middle English ??

Still, it was my first order and at least they work By the time I'm ready to order another lot there will prolly be something new on the market that I will have to buy for the first time - only to find that I should have got a different version of it, and so on and so forth, if you see what I mean scylla
