Firefox forever, you'd never catch me using any other especially not IE or Chrome. Main reason for using firefox is it's so easy to customise it to suit yourself and it is run by like-minded people and not a snooping org that want's to know all your business and track your activity. Chrome + www.ghostery.com/

+1 for FireFox, used it for years long before it was widely known!

Missed one, and for those running true 64bit www.waterfoxproject.org/It is fast, not had any issues with it, however it isn't my default, that would be Opera. Opera does have the odd issue with the odd site here and there, but it is very efficient, very fast, and I prefer it to Chrome, Furry Fox, and Interwreck Exploder

I haven't tested the latest revisions of waterfox but the last time I ran some tests it was slightly slower than Firefox on most tests. It was a couple of months ago mind.

FF used to be the most popular browser, it's now fallen back into third, with chrome taking the lead at 37.2 % of users, even IE is making ground with it's new versions and catchy advertising, it is above FF in second with 26.17% and FF has 23.18%
Safari have 6.79%, opera have 3.72% and 2.94% fall into the others category.

I've been a Firefox man from when it was Netscrape Naivgator. It's cross platform, open source and usually secure (although it can be buggy).
Always hated IE cos it was rubbish, buggy and full of security holes.
I'm reluctant to use Chrome because I think Google already dominate enough of the net (in addition to the tax thing) and I suspect we will find out in the coming years about all the nasty extra snooping it allows them to do.

Don't get the thing about Chrome - as a browser it's pants and you really have to set the privacy settings or your browsing stats will be fed back to the unrelenting monster that is Google.... Opera is by far the best out there at the moment, IMHO. Fast, full of features, and Add-ons like ABP and sooo many more
