+1 for Chrome for me, used to love Firefox, but it's now so slow in comparison to Chrome.

I'm happily using Chrome Me too. Speed-wise, they just keep nudging each other out the way for leader of the pack. Except for IE, which never seems that zippy i.mo.

I'm reluctant to use Chrome because I think Google already dominate enough of the net (in addition to the tax thing) and I suspect we will find out in the coming years about all the nasty extra snooping it allows them to do. Yes, that is a worry. I find the internet quite scary these days. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I really don't surf any more. I get sick and tired of adverts popping up all over the place for certain things.... Like E-Lites, and Monarch Airlines, and basically anywhere (website) I've been in the last 6 months. What I found most scary was being on someone else's computer, doing a search (for something e-cig related), and then ordering from somewhere else. It "offered" me the chance to like it on Facebook. Not so odd in itself, but guess what?.....(remember on another persons PC) My facebook, my profile, my picture. The internet KNOWS who I am not even on my own computer. I remain permanently logged off as many things as possible. I clear history and cookies regularly. It's snooping of the highest order. Companies that target their existing customers using this tactic are no longer companies I use. Bad luck E-Lites. Even worse luck Monarch.

I don't mind Google snooping, it makes Google search work better on my phone as well as latitude etc. I sold my soul out to them a long time ago to make life easier

Just put chrome on the desktop, and seems to be a fair bit faster than IE, copied bookmarks ok, so we shall see, here's hoping.
