Sick of throat hit

I'm probably the only person in the world that gets this problem because everyone else seems to love their TH.

Past couple of days have started getting really bad with TH, the first vape is fine but then within a few pulls it's like skin being flayed off the inside of my throat so I have to stop vaping.
It gets worse through the day almost like it builds up till the point later in the day when more than one or two pulls hurts.

If I leave it for quite a while and drink lots it eases off but soon comes back.

Strangely enough some occasions I don't get much throat hit and vaping is actually pleasant then back like when I started.

Like I am typing this and vaping away on my Apple mix 16mg with no problems and it's nice.
But 30 mins ago I was ready to give up before it was hurting.

Anyone else get utterly random changes like this during the day?
One moment vaping is great next moment it is unpleasant then back again.

I'm drinking loads, no problems with my throat normally and vaping fairly mild 16-18mg juices - 24mg is fine but tends to trigger the discomfort sooner.

Strange thing with analogues it was what it was, the only time I felt uncomfortable was after too many or if I had a sore throat anyway, vaping seems a lot more random.

In short I love the flavor and vapour (more the merrier) but hate TH with a passion.

What should I do to avoid TH?
Adjustable lower voltage?
Vape higher VG?
I don't think Lower nic content is an option, I still want some flavor and don't want to start twitching over nic withdrawl.

Higher VG - Lower voltage, some flavours have lower throat hit regardless of ratio though, a road to discovery

Higher nic will decrease the amount you vape if you can handle it.. shrug

I was just talking to the Mrs and it started to dawn on me a couple of possible reasons why when I'm chilling at home vaping is all good and when I'm at work or in the car it's uncomfortable.

For one when I'm at home I'm vaping indoors so the juice is warmer, I'm guessing warmer juice (and throat possibly) might mean more flavour and vapour, therefore less vaping and less deep vapes needed.
When I'm at work I vape like I smoked; outdoors with the smokers and cramming it in to survive till the next break (apart from the odd sneaky vape in the bogs every now and then, once an hour maybe.)
So maybe I'm chain vaping at work and then going for long periods then chain vaping to compensate.
At home I have a couple of pulls and leave it for a few mins because I know I can vape when ever I want.

Does any of that sound plausible and would a adjustable voltage battery possibly help (Turn it down when I start to get TH?)

Doesn't taste burnt, just feels like someone has coated the back of my throat with pepper.

Hmm that's what mine tasted like before I started waggling the atomiser to make sure the wick was wet.

i switched to using 100% VG dont have sore throat no more also lowered nic down to 12 from 24,mind you tried some old RY4 24mg monday,was in lalalala land for a while lol

I use Clearos (Carts don't do it for me) and I do tend to roll them around to make sure the wicks are wet, although the wicks seem to still be wet.
It's a possibility I guess, when Clearos start to get low on juice is there more chance of burning the juice?

Wonder if it's a pg allergy? I had a horrible bad throat felt raw everytime I vaped but smoking was ok - it drove me back to smoking for a bit! Im now back on the vape have been since I got the ego but I'm usually on mainly vg and tend to avoid pg and I'm fine. I don't like much throat hit either.

I find when I am at work it's not so nice but at home it's fine. It seems much nicer when I can drink at the same time whether it's tea or coke.
It's nicer at breaktime at work with a cuppa so seems to work that way for me.
The sneakys at work or in car without a drink are the worst times.

Might be an idea to try, do you lose much flavor with VG?
Where's the best place to get decent (and cheap) VG juices from?

Yep, I've learnt not to let my clearos run dry

Kibbster,i now use virtually only Vivi Novas,Last week i tried a Clearo to test a juice out and it was VILE!!!Hot,nasty taste.swapped over to a VN and normal service resumed.So all i can say is try a VN tank.It may work,nothing ventured,nothing gained and all that.

I would think if it's was a reaction to PG it would happen all the time?
