I think I'm ready to bite the bullet One last question or two (for now), how important is the base, size and strength? An example: the Old Holborn flavour lobeydosser mentioned ... thanks for the link! ... states the following: Base - 50/50, VG only, mostly PG Size - 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 120 ml (and I thought size only mattered to women ) Strength - Zero, 10, 18, 26, 36 mg

VG = Vegetable Glycerine - the higher the content of VG, the more vapour will be produced. Bear in mind though that most clearomisers will struggle to wick juice with a high VG content.
PG = Propylene Glycol - the higher the content of PG, the more throat hit.
Size - just means the size of the bottle of juice you are buying.
Strength = nicotine content. As a very rough guide, a 20 a day smoker would need to go for either 18mg or 24/26 mg.

It's probably dependant on how much one vapes, but a very rough guide. Oops, one more .... which base would be good for let's say the Riva kit? Will now keep quiet

So, a vape is the equivalent of a pull/puff? So, if my rollup takes .... lemme go test it ...Ok, rollup takes around 12 pull/puffs to smoke. So is that 12 vapes ? Nah, a vape got to be the equivalent of smoking a rollup. And off topic, do any of you remember the palava a few months back when that bus on the M40 was surrounded by the UK's police, because a passenger was vaping? At least that is what I think the reason was. So, can I vape on a long haul flight to South Africa LOL.

I used to smoke 40 fags a day, sometimes 45. So I am, at present, using 24mg e-juice. I use the Royals vape juice from Paradise Vape and I buy it in 50ml bottles. However, when I first bought juice from there, I got about 10 different flavours all in 5ml bottles and vaped them all until I found two or three that I enjoyed. You must remember that the flavours you buy are NOT tobacco, but food flavouring blended to simulate tobacco flavouring. So some that you buy you will like and others not. I go through between 3.5 and 4ml per day and I use a 50pg/50vg mix. The person who caused all the palavar on the bus on the M40, did so because they forgot to switch off their e-cig before they stuck it in their bag and while it was in the bag, it must have been pressed against something so that the button was activated. Whenever you put an e-cig into a pocket or handbag, you must switch it off. Or do like I do and wear it on a lanyard around your neck. No need to switch it off there. Always handy and ready for instant use. Plus the fact that I can show off that I am a Vaper. As to smoking on planes, some airlines allow them and some do not, but if yours does not, you can always have a quick vape in the loo as there is no smell from an e-cig and no one will know whether you are vaping or not. By the by, I have done that flight to SA. Okay, it was about 45 years ago when the planes were still driven by elastic bands. #icon_rofl#

I got 12-14 puffs from a roll up. I vape anything from 5-15 puffs. No, you can't vape on flights. You can try in the loo, but if you get busted..... The M40 story was due to a naughty e-cig vaping itself in the luggage of a passenger. Presumably it had a manual battery that was not "clicked off" so it just started vaping itself...

You could send an E mail to the Airline and ask what their policy on Vaping is.
