I think I have just spoilt my Vamo experience? I wanted a Vamo looks good variable voltage variable wattage. But I got a Itaste MPV for present for myself for doing so well. The thing is I don’t really care about variable wattage. I love my ego twist as it is so simple to use and charge. The Itaste MPV is the same, charge it from my pc and my phone charger even charges it. And it vapes like a train and keeps going Okay its big but it does sit okay in my hand but it does look good. I’ll use the Vamo for now but I find I’m drawn to the MPV. Does anyone else have a MPV? If so what do you think of it? Graeme

I love my MPV. I even love the clearos that came with it, which are now in stock along with replacement heads I tried my vamo last night with a vivi nova on it and I think I've burnt the wick as it doesn't taste very nice now! I'm really not sure that I understand 'wattage' I'm probably best sticking to vv

Mind you it's the one it came with so it's lasted well with cleaning and I've got 12 spare just incase I was using quite thick juice so that may have caused the burning ??? There is just something so easy with the MPV It just seems to work well I was using the Vamo at tea break and it is good with the mini nova with some blueberry pancake

Here is a good page to help you find the best watts via your old volts you would use www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms_law_calculator.phpI put in 4.3 for voltage then 2.2 for resistance and that gave me 8.4 for watts and 1.9 for current/ Hope this will help you get back into VW

The benefit with Variable Wattage, is that once you've found what setting suits your style of vaping, then everything you attach performs to that setting . . . unlike VV, which you have to adjust, depending upon what you're using on the device.
Between 7.5 - 8.5 watts suits me, depending on how new/old a coil I have on the go is.

Ok Perp--So I put the vamo on the vw setting-- yes? Then set the wattage to whatever suits(I get That) Then I dont have to bother with the VV setting? Is that right

OK say you have it at 8 watts on a Vivi that is 2.4, then you put on a Vivi that is 1.8, the watts will still be 8 but the volts will adjust to that resistance. so at 8 Watts u might get 4.2 volts on the 2.4 head. but on the 1.8 head it will drop to something like 3.7 if you get my drift

Gordy once likened VW to air con, it's a very good analogy, once set you don't have to do anything else to it, as it will always perform at that constant setting. The Vamo is either a VV or VW device, the two don't work at the same time together.
