Hey guys first post so be gentle with me, anyway i was wondering how i can get the best flavour out of my Jacvapour VGO 2, at the moment i'm using clearomisers from jacvapour and think there must be better ways to get full flavour from my liqiud. What do i need to buy to do this, i know i will need to get a 901 - 510 adapter but what do i need to put on this to get better taste. Thanks for having the time to read this and any comments would be appreciated. Dale

Hello & welcome Thegrimvaper Is your VGO 2 a manual or auto battery? The only reason I'm asking is that the adapters don't work on the auto 808 batteries.

That's a relief The very best thing for flavour is direct dripping with either a 510 or 306 atomiser (plus a drip tip). However, direct dripping all the time can be quite a faff. I find I get far more flavour from cartomisers than clearomisers. My fave being Boge LR's - www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-low-resistance-%285%29~146

#welcome2# to the forum.
Lower resistance (like Chrissie recommends) should certainly increase flavour. I don't know what the resistance is on your clearos.
A lot of us prefer clearos to cartomisers though. Mini Novas (which I use) are popular and usually reckoned to give more flavour than many clearos, come with a choice of resistance.
Next step up would be a variable voltage battery (like an ego twist). Might also be worth looking at alternative juice suppliers.

Hi and welcome The best ever flavour I get is when I direct drip, nicer than anything.

Welcome to the forum Have to agree with the direct dripping - definitely gives the best flavour.

I think they are rated at 2.80 ohms 2.8 is on the high side. Mini Novas come in 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8. All clearos and carts start to taste burnt or lose flavour eventually. You can buy the Mini Nova heads separately when they start to do that, which makes them a bit cheaper than the crystal tanks in the long run. (Or you can buy the wick and wire and rebuild them yourself, which makes them very cheap indeed).

Welcome. I am a massive JacVapour fan. I'm sure I'll be on the review sites somewhere bigging them up. Sadly, unless I'm way off the mark, I suspect that the clearos to go with Jac Vgos are their own version of the standard Ce4 or Ce5. I have a pair of these and taste-wise they are inferior to mini novas or Kanger T3s. I bought an adapter from the lovely Lisa @ cloud9 vaping the other day to convert all my JacVapour goodies to fit on a Riva and Spinner. You'd need to do the same, buy the adapter to put a 510 nova on a jac fitting. Don't know about eGo connections....someone else will know.

I think connectors are going to be like the old video recorders , no matter how good one will come top & the rest will go . Remember betamax ?

Hi Dale i started some months ago with a jac vgo system but found there clearomisers too expensive and unreliable ,came here and bought 2 vision spinners(really pleased with them ),but since then discovered dripping on my spinners using a bauway LR306 bridged atomiser and drip tip, after that got thinking of my vgo batteries going to waste so bought the adapter mentioned in earlier post,i now use vgo just for dripping in evenings with excellent results for flavour and vape, give it a go,id estimate you could get all necessary items for about a tenner. happy vaping Andy

Ok guys i'm going to get the 901 - 510 adapter and give the Cisco LR 306 atomiser a go as i have seen some good reviews. One question is what size to buy as i have a choice between the 1.8 or 2.0 ohms. Thanks Dale.

Not heard of the cisco, or at least any reviews. I have heard several reports of the Bauway 306 LR and they're all very good. Generally the lower resistance will giv you more flavour, but a warmer vape more quickly, You probably wouldnt see much difference between 1.8 - 2.0 but personally I would go for 1.8 on the cisco, and 1.5 ohm on the Bauway

Does anyone know what voltage the jac operates at? If it is, for example, 3.7 volts then even 2.0 may be too much.
I have the bauway, 2.0 ohms (supposed to be 1.9 I think) and 3.2 volts is all it needs.
btw i think the bauway is a great thing to have for testing juices, but far too much bother for regular use.
