Hi, I am thoroughly enjoying mixing my own juices. I bought some of the doppio espresso. I've mixed some and added a dash of caramel.
I've been reading elsewhere, that flavourart concentrates Are fairly strong. Liking a nice coffee flavour I've also bought cappuccino as a concentrate. I was wondering if you guys could recommend how many drops per millilitre for me for a decent enough strong enough flavour?

A rough guide for starters is 20% of flavouring per mix, when using more than one flavour, divide the 20%, not always equal so youll have to experiment, a good plan would be to use 5% of each flavour then add more of a flavour if required.. easier to add than take away

I find F'arts to be really on the weak side intensity wise, though I can say that about any number of brands . . . depends upon your taste buds and how strong you enjoy your flavours as well Brit.

I like the doppio as well. Is yours mixing OK? There was a period when it was separating out. I mix it (and pretty much everything else) at 20% flavour.
If I am doing a mix then I mix the ingredients first. So for my choc/mint/coconut I have three bottles steeped, all at 20% flavour, 18mg. When I need some more to vape I mix some choc juice and some peppermint juice (3 choc to one peppermint as it happens), add about 1 drop/ml of the coconut mix, 1 drop/3ml of bitter wizard.
Which uses a lot of bottles, but it does mean that I can see how it tastes with different proportions without wasting juice and especially, without waiting for the new combo to steep. (The taste will still alter a bit if you steep the final mix, but not much).

My first batch of doppio has been fine. But I only put drops in. I think I need to make it stronger.
I've noticed the concentrate is separating in the bottle.
Lol I didn't realise I had to leave it with the lid off to steep:)
When I mix I do the base first and then drop in the flavouring.

I guess how strong you need depends on what your taste buds are like. Mine are pretty much shot after nearly 50 years of fairly heavy smoking.
If you put the mixed doppio in the microwave - I use medium power, maybe 10 seconds for 15 ml - and give it a shake, then it mixes to a slightly opaque straw-coloured liquid. It doesn't separate again. It used to mix to a clear straw colour, but as it happens I left some of that in the car one cold night, and that went slightly opaque too. Vapes the same. So I suspect the recipe is the same, but they are doing something different in the preparation - maybe vibrating it instead of cooking it.
Yep, dropper cap and lid off. I leave it somewhere cool. Obviously has to be where small kids can't get at it.
I guess the thickest liquid should go in last, which is probably the flavouring, but I don't suppose it matters if you give it a good shake.
