I am finally losing patience with my mini nova, it contstantly leaks to the extent that i can now only risk filling it .5ml at a time and even then i have to store it completly upright. I drove home the other day took my Mini Nova out of my pocket and discovered that the entire thing had emptied out in my pocket > As this was my first rebuildable (I used cartomisers previously) i was wondering what alternatives there are, is the CE5 worth looking into?

Their must be something up with your Nova Gary, I use them all the time . . . never had a leak, though they're not the cloned versions that I have, which I believe can be more prone to leakage.
The Kangers and others, strip the flavours out too much for me, but lots of vapers like them.

I agree with Perps, there's something not right with your MVN Gary. I have loads, both sizes, probbly all clones, and never had a leak. Some things to check:
1. Is your atomiser head screwed down firmly? If isn't, unscrewing the top cap for filling can also unscrew the head and then it leaks down the centre tube.
2. Do you have the silicone and metal cap over the atomiser head? If that's missing then you have no seal between the atomiser and the top cap and it will leak through the mouthpiece/drip tip.
3. Are the silicone o-rings in place top and bottom of the tube? If not you'll get leakage between the tube and the bottom or the top cap.
ETA 4. Is your tube plastic? Does it have a crack? Some juice flavours attack plastic and can cause leaks. If yours is leaking because of this, a metal tube is what you need. 3 colours (blue, black, silver) are available from Vape Escape, about £3 each.
If you can work out where it's leaking from, you should be able to fix it. I love my Vivi Novas and aim to replace everything I use with them eventually.

I also agree with perps I have 3 of them and have never had a problem with leaks. I did have a clone that was not so good though, but never had any issue with the genuine ones.

I'm another whose novas don't leak. Add to dizzi's list - is the post in the centre?

I bet a whole British £1 that it's not a genuine Vision product.
I have a collection of M.V.N.s and only one of them is a bad boy.....and it's not a genuine one. :-[
The CE5s are not in the same league i.m.o.

Thanks everyone, i now have a new problem, it is no longer working at all. no vape or even a burning sound, ive taken it apart amd set it to dry burn and there is absolutely nothing happening. Ive taken the whole thing apart pulled the long pin out of the centre and wiped it. I really hope its just the atomiser head thats gone

I also have a problem with it leaking thought the base with a Siam cube 14500, it's lovely when it works but it gets though more juice than I do! I've dropped one, so I changed over to one I hadn't but i'm getting the same issue with the one I cobbled together from the "best" bit of the others.

Have you some spare/new heads to try Gary?
Is your centre pin/head fully screwed in, I find these can have a habit of undoing themselves, when you take the top off for refilling . . . how long have you been using it?
Also, if you haven't had this for long period, I'd think about contacting the Vendor who you bought it from.

Like Perpy, I've had no bother with my genuine Vivi Novas. I have had probs with a clone though These innokin clearos that I linked to above are really very good indeed, the only problem for me with them is they only hold 1.6mls

I only ask, as I am 95% sure that my "clone" was also partly responsible for blowing my battery. It leaked from day one. It vaped badly, I rewicked it and tested the head, it still killed my Riva. Just asking...

Thumbs down from me for the CE5s - they're either really poorly manufactured or put together by a chimp with a hand full of thumbs. I replaced them with some Vison rainbow rebuildables and they're going well so far - much better quality, good all round vape and nice girly colours, although you may want to stick with clear or black! I fired up my Nova STV for the first time tonight. It's flippin' brilliant and a thing of beauty, although it looks a bit strange on my ego batts. I'm just going to have to get a Vamo to put it on! Dear Santa.....
