4 bits of Mesh & a Boot Lace

Having spent all my Bawbees with Santa and liking a lanyard for my e-cigs, I didn't fancy paying lotsa dollars buying a custom made leather lanyard for my ProVari.

So, with some wool, 4 bits of plastic mesh and a boot lace, meet Lobey's Provari Lanyard.




Total cost, about 10p

Just stitched it in wool. Same way as with a tapestry.

Tried that but they don't do 5XL.

This wool and mesh lanyard is just an experiment to see how it would work with a heavier PV.

I have tried to do one in leather using a tube, but the leather was too thick and the button would not depress properly within the hole space.
Also, there is a finite balance between making the tube large enough to allow the ProVari to slide in easily, but not wide enough that it would fall out easily.

Its a pity that ProVaris do not have a shoulder like the Ego's where a lanyard collar can be fitted.

The wool & mesh works well, but is not strong enough and it will not last long. However it does give me the measurements and the design to now go on and find a material that will support the heavier PV.
