I was tasting all the flavours in a regular 510 atty using a drip tip so my regular tanks and atty's are safe...

Ah, I see . . . other than keeping seperate atty's for the very strong flavours there's no easy answer, some vapers do boil their atomisers to give them a clean, but I've never had any success doing that.

Thanks for that prompt answer I was plannig to boil some water...
I guess a long vape in menthol might save this ...
It is a pretty good one (The LR ones) so want to salvage it....

About 10 minutes on a simmering boil Sham . . . but I still think you'd have more success blowing the atty through, dripping some menthol and then leaving it to drain overnight. And yes, I much prefer a LR atty, I'll have to bring a LR901 along with an adaptor for you to try as well . . . I'll start packing the gear tomorrow night.

Interesting that Hanow is also having similar problems with batteries/atties from TW Seems a bit of a strange coincidence to me. And, now that I think of it, those mega cartos which lit up inside were got from TW's yoyo sale scylla

OK my results are in! Firstly the 510 attys I bought from TW can't handle the tornado battery Secondly they get very hot on a 510 battery, so no use for a heavy vaper like me The 510 atty that I bought from vapour world works brill on a tornado batt The 2 extra attys I bought for my TW tank are pants (they are colour red so not to confuse with OH's tank.) Horrid burning plastic taste. The black ones are fine In conclusion potential new customers will be lost if they get a gob full of burning plastic. Established customers will go elsewhere if they waste money on kit that doesn't work. I am a very open minded person, but if my first vape had been on that red tank atty, I would have run a mile

If they are tank atties, prime them with a drop on the wick and then take a few primer draws inbetween your first few puffs (draw without pressing the battery button).
This helps to get the juice wicking and I have found that it usually gets them sorted.
Once they are wicking properly, you won't need to do the primer draws.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for that advice BTB Not tried these tank atties myself but from all I am reading I really don't think they are something to recommend to newbies?

Thanks BTB, I have tried to wick the red attys as you suggest and have been using one all day. It doesn't wick the juice and I still get the horrid burnt plastic taste. I have measured the red ones against the black ones, and the only difference is..... The red attys wicks are 1mm lower inside the casing than the black ones. Surely this would not constitute the huge difference in performance between the two attys. I have only managed to draw half a cartridge of juice from the red one all day. I am now back on the black one and it is wonderful. Lots of white vapour (it is a dirty grey colour off the other atty) and lots of flavour. I am pretty confident that I have giveb enough time and effort to the red ones, and I can say that the TW black attys are lovely, but TW red ones are PANTS >
