I vape GVC in my Vamo at present. I started on watts, but seem to find volts better. Question........what setting do owners find generally work best for them? With GVC i found 3.2v rms good, but after a week or so i find 3.5v better for vapour, but i lose a little flavour [or so it seems]. I cant help feeling it will improve if i alter to another setting lol. Thats the problem im always tempted to alter to another setting. Probably due to my inexperience.

I'm using mine on watts and I like 6.5 watts with an aga-t at 2.4 ohms with apple pie and custard

blakey, do you leave on 8 w rms regardless of the juice you are vaping? I just tried 8w with my 2.4 ohm and it tastes slightly burnt. 7w seems ok though, which equates to about 4v.

I'm on watts as well, currently 8.5 . . . don't forget whatever you're using on it, will peak off after some use, so you may find you do need to up your settings to get a good vape Talisman.

I use an online conversion to get my starting point with stuff. www.onlineconversion.com/ohms_law.htmBasically, I'm looking to get between 6.5-8.0 watts on the output. So, if I stick an atomiser on that I've tested at 2.5 ohms, say, then I'll put in a Voltage of 4.2 to start and see what the result is. I don't own a Vamo, but if the W rms is "set" to 6.5, then it will select the voltage for the resistance of the head. Unless I misunderstand, most folks are going to start around 6-8 watts for the power. Those of us with VV devices, probably kick it off at 3.5-4.0 (at a guess) What atomiser/clearo are you using on it? I know that GVC, 1.8 atty = 3.5 volts or so to start. Anything above 4.0 is not going to be nice.

Im beginning to think i had it set to low at 3.2v rms with a 2.4ohm. I was getting a nicer flavour but little vapour. It may well not vaporise properly at 3.2v. Will leave at 4v or 7w.

djs i am using a nova at 2.4. I reckon 3.5-4v or 6.5/7w is about right, for me anyway. It is nice to get others opinions as it can get frustrating.

I tend to aim for about 2ohms when I wrap my coils on everything so yes I tend to leave it at 8w which equates to 4v. If I drip with 306s which are lr I still have no need to change from that setting nor when I use a 2.4ohm vivi - that's what I love about vw, set and forget The only real time I deviate is when I use clockworks dripping attie, that's a powerful little attie and I come down to 7.5w with the same 2ohms. As for juices, some work better at different power settings but all the juices I tend to vape work best for me at that setting

I find it personal taste, if I vape one juice at say 8.5w, another might have its sweetspot at 7.0w or 9.0w, but my sweetspot will be different from yours,so its a Lonley journey with juice and must be done alone

I tend to use around 4W and 7.5v to get the best combination of vapour, flavour and TH. However, it does depend to a large extent on the type of juice you use. Some of my milder juices improve at 8.5 or even 9v but I'm still getting to know my Vamo myself! Hope this helps! Andy

At the moment with Hangsens RY4 in a V3 with a 1.5 attie I am really happy with it set at 6 - 6.5 watts. At that setting i'm getting good taste and ample throat hit.Going up to 8 w gives me too much t/h and not enough flavour..

Been varying the wattage on mine depending on the juice. Currently vaping a mix of GVC and blackberry on 7w. Loverley! Haven't twiddled with the voltage settings yet, more than happy with it as it is! I don't mind sacrificing a bit of vapour for a good flavour. Each to their own though. Guess that's what's so good about the Vamo - you can set it to whatever you like best. StS
