Have you tried boiling the carto's Dee?
Ian had quite considerable success doing that with the Boge LR510's . . . it does degrade the filler a little but also revives the carto for a while longer.

Scylla, I've still not got round to trying them on my GGTS @ 3.7v (I ordered 2 packs) - been waiting till the EM LR901 attie that's on it at the moment to die.
Dee, are the 901's standard or LR?

They're LR Chrissie. I am quite happy with them. The first one has dropped off a little, but it's still alive and hopefully I should be able to use it when I finally get my mod and passthrough  |

Hissie I have to say that the standard 510 I used has been brill, just not strong enough for me since I've been using LR's. I think if you're using them with a higher voltage they should be great. |
