Hi there! I've only just decided to give vaping a go for a second time, I won't go through it all again but I tried green smoke cigs a few years ago, not for me! So I've been geeking out with my research and I think I know what I want, I could of course be talking complete tosh as I'm brand new so here goes Variable voltage Cleanable clearomizer size not a pproblem Up to about £65
If that makes any sense can anyone recommend a kit? I don't want to buy it all separately as I'm bound to get it wrong! I'm really hoping this is the answer for me this time
Thanks in advance Chris (Ps I've posted this elsewhere so apologies if you've seen it.... Well, elsewhere!)

Hello & welcome Chris, good to see you here As I said on ECF, you will find that even a standard Riva/ego will be so much better than the greensmoke you tried And no need at all for apologising for posting it elsewhere - we are all here, as on other forums to help folks as much as we can

Hi toon, nice to meet you #welcome2# There's not too many vv starter kits about, so may be better to buy individually Ashmals link is to a great little kit, it can work as a passthrough too, so you can vape while charging!

I agree with Karma. You could buy 2 VV devices and all the rest, but why not get a Riva kit and then add a Spinner or Twist battery. I used 2 Rivas and a Spinner for months until I bust a battery (Riva) messing around. So, I bought a cheap Lavatube. Now my bank balance is falling off a cliff.....

Thank you Chris Chris, I think it's become even more than a hobby to many folks. There is such a fantastic vaping community. IMHO, it's partly due to so many of us as smokers were starting to feel like society outcasts - but we don't need to feel like that any more

My bank manager's advise would be go for the bigger device ... you'll end up buying one anyway

I also agree with Karma, go for a Riva or ego kit to begin with & then add a Twist or Spinner battery at a later date to try VV ?

#welcome2# Chris, Check your wallet in when you log on In addition to the kit recommendations above, get a Bauway 306 Bridged LR dripping atomiser & 306 drip tip to taste test the juices you will be trying. Vape Escape will set you back £6.30 inclusive of discount plus £1.99 p&p. Check the vendors' discount thread before buying anything. When buying juices go for 5ml sample sizes until you find a juice that suits. Don't sell or trade juices for a few months cos your tasteg buds will riot & go AWOL & what you love/hate now won't be the same 4 months down the line. Grizwald's pick n mix range at Vape Escape is good value. Check the Classifieds & Swaps for juices & kit too.

I've been looking to maybe get a lava tube kit? With clearomizers? I'm figuring after my experience with green smoke being so hit and miss I like the idea of 1: being able to see what's in it 2: being able to adjust the voltage if I'm not getting a good vape and 3: a battery/batterys that aren't going to need to be charged every five minutes. I want to give myself every chance here as I'm quite determined to get of the cigs as I lost my mother to them and my Dad has just had a heart attack and is still smoking would you believe! I'm thinking that if I can get a bit of kit that works well and could appeal to the engineer in him it might persuade him as well with a bit of luck! Thanks ever so much for your suggestions. Chris
