Hi, I think I've settled on a lava tube from vape escapes, thanks for the links alvoram and thanks to everyone who made suggestions, I really appreciate it. Just a quick question before I order, can I use clearomizers with it? What kind would you recommend? Thanks again Chris

I'd go for a Vivi Nova Toon . . . the general feedback is favourable on them.
The heads last me for ages and replacement ones are inexpensive to buy, or you may want to have a go at recoiling your own at some point in the future.

I'd recommend a vivi nova; either mini or STV or regular 3.5ml
One thing, I do believe the newer Lavatubes have both eGo and 510 connections.
On my old LT, I only have 510...which meant buying a 510-eGo adapter. If in doubt about compatibility, phone VapeEscape.
I phoned 3 or 4 times in the early days, sometimes to ask silly questions. I guess that's OK though as 20 minutes later, I'd ordered stuff! Then, in typical style, it arrived either the next day or the one after.

The Vivi Nova won't work on the Lava Tube version you are thinking of buying. I bought the exact same of from the exact same vendor and had to mess around with adaptors to get it to work. It's not the vendors fault but they made this Lava Tube version with a center pin which is a spring like pin, so it blocks the air holes on the Vivi Nova
I also got bad hit after bad hit with my Lava Tube, burnt taste and not the same constant hit with every vape.
This all changed when I bought the new VAMO, this has never given me one bad hit, it works just fine with Vivi Novas and each and ever hit is the same right until the battery runs out.
Do yourself a favour and forget the Lava Tube and buy the VAMO, you will be a lot more happier if you do.

Get a lavatube chrome, then buy a vivi nova v5 from vaperstall.com they work perfect with each other and look fantastic too.

Yet those Vivi Novas are the real ones, they are some kind of knock offs Even with the adaptors which made it work fine, I found the Lava Tube to be not a constant same hit each and every time, something I do get with the VAMO

i second getting the vamo over the LT by a long shot. in my opinion the LT is old tech in a new housing where as the vamo is consistantly good from the first puff to the last. i know cos i own both

Owning the Lava Tube for a month then getting the VAMO and then the same hit time after time when vaping with the VAMO it shows what a great piece of kit the VAMO is, and for the price it's better value than the Lava Tube.

I'll give you a ring before we process your order Toondog. I have to agree with the consensus...the Vamo is a far better buy for the money If I sound a bit feminine on the phone, it's because when I say I'll give you a ring....I mean Ellen will

Now that is what I call service from a Vendor, hats off to Jason.
toondog, you won't regret the VAMO, it is the best for the money, and it has so many things it can do. Also it can be full size or the mini A lot of us have the VAMO on here, and search around many Forums and you will find a lot of info about it. Once it's set up with your Vivi Nova on it, it works like nothing you can match I followed what robby said with the settings, I run mine at 9 wats and it is great.
The Black Chrome looks really smart but the color does fade and rub off. I also have the Chrome one as my backup, which also looks good. There is also now a Stainless Steal one which is a few pounds more but it will stand the time with scratches and hand rubbing.
I thought I'd found the right thing when I first got my Lava Tube, But as I have already said..lol... the VAMO is 1000 times better.

Just a quick note on this, it seems to have become give the lavatube a kicking over the vamo, I myself have a lavatube and use a stv vivi nova on top and have no problems what so ever, as am sure there are many other users of the lavatube that are quite happy with them as I am. Mybad.
