Vivi Nova STV Throat Hit

I received my first VN STV today along with a lovelt pink Ego Twist. Both are great! Much smoother draw and taste on the twist and my Riva, BUT, for some reason I am getting little or no throat hit ??? I have tried all the different settings on the twist. Riva doesnt have different settings. Previously I was using V3 clearos or a Kanger (cant remember model and can't get out of wheelchair at the moment to go look in the tin) which did give me good TH.
Anyone know why this is happening? Probably me doing something stupid. I already tried unscrewing the Nova the wrong end to put the juice in

What resistance head are you using on each?

Which head did you put in the Vivi Nova? I find that I really have to crank the volts up if I use the 2.8 one!

Ahhh...that i don't know. Just got the one it came in the box. There are 2 other spare ones that came with it. I got it from Jason. Will go see if i can tell which one is in it.

Look at the ones that are still in the box Dolly, if you tell us what they are we'll be able to tell you which one you're using

OK.. the ones still in the box. One has just one thickish looking wick. The other has 4 thinnish looking strands. Too frightened to open the one with the juice in now as i said elsewhere, i have already got juice all over me from removing the old clearo to put the nova on ##

Ok, you may need a magnifying glass, look on the metal bit of the spare ones next to where the wicks poke out

You are looking for resistance numbers

It will say either, 1.8, 2.4, or 2.8

ok.. cant get to a magnifying glass but i think the one with 4 strands is 1.8 and the one thick wick says 2.8, but they really are small to see.

I'm using a 2.4 one at the moment but according to my Provari the resistance is 2.7, I've got it turned up to 5 volts!

Keep giving it a bit swoosh to keep the wicks really wet and turn the dial up a bit on the Twist!

Also make sure you've got the head screwed down properly in the Vivi Nova, they can get a bit loose when your opening them to refill!

Yeah I've found differences ... My 1.8 head on my STV reads as 2.2

So i must have the 2.4 in the Nova now like you. I have the twist at highest setting. When I have used the juice in it now should i put one of the others in? So sorry to be a PITA but i have never used anything like this before. You are a star and have the patience of a saint
