Vanilla Custard Recipes

If I wanted to make 5ml of perps vanilla custard.........75mg base, @ 24mg strength, 70PG/30VG, without the vodka bit, could someone give me the percentages?. I've worked it out on the e-juice calculator, but I want to see if my calculations are correct. Also, where does one purchase Stevia?............Thank you very glad....

I love it Perps, I don't vape anything else. I am thinking though that I should try something different, so I've also ordered some Dulche De Leche to try Skwoddy's Ambrosia recipe.

Obviously this is basically another custard recipe

There you go Sandra, although my measurements aren't in the realms of exactitude as you know . . . so a drop or two more, won't hurt.

Can you please tell me how many ml would you estimate 60 drops in your recipe to be Perpetua?

2ml Macca . . . I work on 30 drops to a ml.

So that recipe gives you 9 ml of finished e-juice?

Thereabouts, yes Macca.


The ejuice me up calculator, you can set the drops to your preferred ml to drop ratio Chris.

The default is 20, which I don't think is accurate for many dropper bottles.

Ok I mixed a small sample quantity of VC with 20% flavouring to 24mg strength..

Maybe I am missing the French Vanilla deluxe or it's the higher nic content. After a week of steeping, whilst it has a nice flavour, but it's not as deep a flavour as the sample of PVC you sent me and is slightly harsh. Need to get some TPA French Vanilla and some Stevia to replicate your recipe.

And it's only had a week Macca, that sample I sent you was over 3 weeks steeped . . . after a week I think it's still quite raw.

If you've any Vape Wizard, that will round it off a bit in the meantime, though I do think the French Vanilla/Sweetner help as well.
I'm experimenting at the moment with a VC mix, using Vanillin Crystals and some Neilsen Massey Vanilla extract, just to see as you do
what difference/improvement if any they might make.


I think 20 drops to a ml has been the estimate for a long time now Chris, the only way to be 100% certain is to count your drops out 
and then draw the liquid back up in a syringe, see what it measures . . . although you'd have to do that with all dropper sizes.

I'm happy in the thereabouts realm myself . . . .

So you tend to use droppers as opposed to syringes perp?

Yes, because I'm a lazy mixer Chris . . . for me the pleasure is in the creative/flavour part of the process, not twiddling about
with syringes. 

I measure very little, though I am now trying to write the number of drops I use of Flavourings down, as I'm annoying myself in not
being able to re-create some of my brews that I've enjoyed.

But that's just my way of working, I'd like to be more disciplined ideally.
