This is very worry news indeed for the vaping community Mainly due to the bad press it will give

It will be 3 years in July since I started vaping & for me, like many others, I've just had tons of benefits health wise.

I've seen so many threads, especially on ECF, where folks have been told by their doctors that their lung functions have improved dramatically since changing to vaping.

Yep, I was also worried about that member saying they where vaping Olbas oil & stated my concerns at the time.

Would burn your throat for sure?Who needs olbas oil when there is James's menthol I cant understand how anyone could top up with anything than e-juice,i would be so worried about the unknown consequences.

Yes, I recall that the person had a cold and said it was helping to clear it up...advice was it's def not a good move.

I think that if e-juice was affecting our lungs, we would know it, long before the damage became fatal.

Look at when we smoked and how many of us had that telltale morning cough.

I agree Chrissie,my lungs have cleaned out and i can breath alot better after my relatively short 9-10 months of vaping.I think this person must have vaped somat illegal,already had health issues without knowing or had some sort of crazy allergic reaction to e-juice.

Some people are allergic to PG, but they quickly find that out and use only VG based e-juice.

Peter said that oils just burn up on the atomizer, so won't be inhaled. Not sure what your inhaling then though. Sounds like the media badly edited it again trying to get a story. Blame the newest, most unknown thing they can. Couldn't have been smoking, thats never harmed anyone

Nice one Fruits,and an excellent article by Doodlebug.I feel that the BBC is out of order here for only showing half of the picture.I am not worried anymore as this bloke had serious health conditions, and had been smoking decades so the damage must have already been done.
