I'm not generally big on conspiracy theories, but this gentleman died in August last year, just before the MRHA consultation. Could it be at all possible that GPs, surgeons and the like were encouraged to report if any of their vaping patients subsequently died?

And testing within the next two years...... Now, why does two years ring a bell?

Just to add to that - how often do doctors get interviewed on tea time news when one of their patients dies from a smoking related disease??

Aye, he died last August, but the coroners can take a jolly long time to return their verdicts if an inquest is held. I'm guessing that they have almost been gagging to find this tentative correlation.

I can imagine if a vaper died in a car accident it would have been because they were topping off their cartridge, or a horse riding accident, then the vapour would be blamed for scaring the horse.

Exactly Fruits.I totally agree with what you and Jaki said.I feel this is all a very well rehersed and constructed plan on the path to bring vaping to its knees.I really feel it is going to be banned,maybe not now but its on the cards.

Jaki, I was also wondering if the news was due to an inquest on the verdict of death. I know hey can easily take over 6 months before the verdict is reported.

I know some of you are aware of the proposed Community Association. Those mad brave fools folk who run VapourTrails TV have volunteered to set this up between them, so it is down to use mere mortals to encourage membership and support of them.

I think an even more united front can only be for the good.

Chrissie, I cannot understand why an open verdit was recorded when he had been known to suffer from a significant lung disease. And how indepth could the coroners inquest have been if they didn't have the ingredients of e-juice to know that there is no oil in it!?

It's bloody frustrating, but Andy and Dave are taking the opposing view and going to try to go all out for lots of good publicity. They are planning on travelling round the UK, popping in for cups of tea and interviewing vapers, with a view to getting it on mainstream TV! Put your lippy on girls!

How many people die from smoking in a day?I am sick of this sick world always coming down to politics and money.Why can tobacco companies perfectly legally kill people and get away with it?Surely if anything should be banned it should be tobacco.Vaping is a gift from the gods for us all, and its taking money from the tobacco companies who were killing us. ??? Tobacco and the thousands of other man made chemicals that are added are all to get a smoker hooked,in my opinion that is like being a drug dealer.I cant understand why fags are not banned.Leave us happy vapers alone.

I agree with you Ian, however, as vapers it will do us no favours to suggest that - a lot of it is about being allowed to make our own choices and not be dictated to or nannied, so we are in the same camp as the smokers.
