Yes I have ordered some juice too. Cappuccino, Menthol Blend and Caramel. Thought I would see which I preferred. I have smoked honey analogue cigars and enjoyed them so thought I would start there. I am open to any suggestions anyone may have.

Morning all.
My 510 limited edition has arrived this morning but there isn't an instruction book with it. Do I have to charge the batteries before I can use it and could anyone give me a quick walk through as to how I put the liquid in?

Oops! Could you disregard the last post. In my excitement at opening my 510 I must have dropped the instructions on the floor. I have just found them!!!. Sorry about that.

regarding the liquid I suppose your cartridges came with a white "cotton" filling in it<?

Camera, the batteries come with a factory charge (they are non memory batteries btw) so you can use one straight away & put the other on charge.

The atomisers will have a completely empty mouthpiece attached - remove it (but don't throw it away as it can bes stuffed at a later date) & then fill one of the dry cartridges with enough drops of juice till it starts to pool slightly on top of the filling.

Then check out this video - it's for the 901 version but instructions are the same : -

I have put a battery on charge, and am trying to fill one of the carts with juice.

So what do you think of it so far Camera?

I think I might have made a wrong choice with the flavours possibly. I have tried cappuchino and am trying menthol at the moment. I seem to be getting a funny taste is this normal or have I put too much liquid in? I wonder if I should have started with a more tobacco taste.

its probably whatever foul stuff they put on the atomizer at the manufacturer, and yes it tastes foul!

What i did was this (and someone with more experience please come along and correct me if i have fouled up)...

1 - take out the cartridge
2 - drop 2 drops of liquid directly onto the atomizer
3 - press button and burn off
4 - repeat steps 2 and 3
5 - remove atomizer (careful its probably hot) and put the battery end of it to your mouth and blow hard over a piece of kitchen towel
6 - reassemble your kit and see if the taste has gone.

For some reason I cant fathom they insist on priming (?) the attomizers with something foul.

Blue is right, it's probably the primer they put in.

Take the atty off and blow hard through it, from the cartridge end (into some kitchen paper), then add a couple of drops of juice and you're good to go. It should wear off soon.

Just check the end of your carts to make sure you're not melting them though... if you are, either trim them down a fraction and/or make sure the flat sides of the cart line up with the flat side of the atty bridge.

TBH, if you were burning the carts, then the taste wouldn't be 'funny' it'd be aweful! Geoff recons it tastes like burnt mattress (not sure how he knows!)

It sounds as if that might be the problem. I was starting to scratch my head. As you say it tastes foul. I will try that later and get back to you.
