How low should I let my efest 18650 2000mah batteries get before recharging? At the moment, by the end of the day my vamo shows the voltage around 3.5 - 3.6 still vaping happily. When I get up in the morning I swap it out for a fully charged one. How low can I let them go before shortening the life or will the vamo decide that? I use an Xtar wpII Cheers

i always wait untill the vamo tells me vamo doesn't flatten the batts, think its around 3.5 when it stops you vaping and flashes low.

Mine gives a lo battery warning and switches off when it gets down to about 3.3v. Keep meaning to ask if that sounds about right. I just swap them then.

They don't have memories the batteries we use . . . plus I've seen others more knowledgeable than me, say that regular charging, even if the battery isn't fully discharged, will prolong it's lifespan Toon.

Li-ion cells shouldnt really be allowed to go below 2.6 volts. Beyond that point there is the chance the battery wont recover and fail to recharge. I tend not to use mine below 3.2-3 volts. Mods like the vamo, zmax and provari will let you know the battery is too low. Mechanical mods won't. With a standard resistance coil ( say 2.8-3.0 ohms) the battery wont supply enough umph anyway at around 3.2 volts and you'll get very little vapour.

Thanks everyone, I'll just keep charging each one on alternate days then. Chris.

I get 1 and a half, to 2 days vaping out of an efest 2000mah, at 6 watts... and I recharge at 3.6-3.7 Wonder how long I'd get if I let them go down to 3.2

My Vamo switches off after flashing at about 3.3 using 18350 700mah, and they seem to pick up charge nice and quickly (about 2 hours). I charge my eFest 18650 3200mah after 24 hours, although sometimes it's still showing 3.7 or 3.8. Andy

I charge all mine when the device stops working or vapor production is unsatisfactory, in other words, no point charging them more than necessary, a waste of good electrickery.
