How do I do this? What do I need? Can someone plz explain what I will need to purchase and where to get it? Can I use an old carto, take the stuff out and pour liquid directly in?

Have a look at this video Cammy www.e-cig-reviews.com/306%20atomiser.htmlIf you do get a 306 to drip then remember to buy a 306 drip tip as well. You can use other atty's to drip but the 306 is generally thought to be up there with the best of them. If you find you enjoy it, you can then spend a bit more if you wanted on a rebuildable dripper.

cammy ,you can indeed pull out wadding on a old carto leaving centre wick and use as a drip atty/tip,at least it worked for me on old jac carto's, but i discovered the bauway LR306 and found them so much better,as previously mentioned, you will need a 306 drip tip with these but there cheap enough.

andy - didn't you have some for sale (306) @ cammy - the 306 is a tiny little atomiser that needs a drip tip. They are great for dripping. Two things to know 1) they get very hot.... and 2) if you vape Hangsen Premium tobacco in them, you'll have to soak the damn thing in Vodka to ever taste anything again...

So I buy one of these bauway LR306 and a tip and just put liquid directly onto the atty, yeah?

Hmmmmn, interesting reading there Giles - it advises not to use the LR306 with batteries with less than 2000 mA. I was just gonna pop it on my 1000mAh ego. Looks like i will need to get a new battery too if I am gonna go down this route.... Thanks for the link mate, you probably saved my battery from being wiped out!

Cammy, I think that might be typo. You will certainly be able to use the LR306 with your battery. It's not advisable to use low res atties with low mAh batteries, low can mean anything below 500mAh depending. I think that number should be 200mAh, not 2000mAh!
ETA - the highest rated battery I have is 2000mAh, Efest 18650s I use in my Vamo. I regularly use low res atties on my 900-1100mAh Egos and Twists. Fact is, I've never seen a 2000mAh rated Ego type so I sincerely doubt that "don't use below 2000mAh" figure is accurate. You will probably find that, if you vape the same amount, your battery won't last as long before it needs recharging - but as you'll get more flavour and likely more nic from the Bauway than a standard carto, you may well find you vape less, so it'll cancel that out.

Cool thanks dizzi - kinda off topic but I recently got a smoketech DCT low resistance tank - it's 1.5ohm but am finding I am not getting near enough vape or throat hit from it. It's really new and have just filled it so I am hoping that its needing time to soak up my liquid. I have put enough liquid in it so doubt it isn't filled enough. Could it be too low resistance for my battery?

Very unlikely Cammy - I have a DCT as well, think it works out the same resistance as yours hang on a sec... yep, Vamo says it's 1.5 ohms. It's actually one of the very first bits of kit I bought and I'm using the original carto - it's 3 months old! I've used it on Ego types from 900 mAh and never had a problem. Maybe it just needs bedding in a bit?
ETA - you did fill the carto as well as the tank, didn't you? If you only filled the tank it'll probably take a looooonnnngggg time to wick into the carto.

Another trick is suck on the carto without pressing the button to help feed juice through.

You are all right using a 1.5ohm carto with a regulated Joyetech eGo or a Twist, but I wouldn't risk it on a Riva or other unregulated battery - anything much below 2 ohms is risking blowing the switch on them. The other potential problem with them is that the voltage your battery can supply to that load may be down quite a bit on what it delivers to a higher ohm load.

Cammy, you can buy a SR 306 and use one of them. I have that one and didn't bother with the LR.
