Could you please recommend a e-cig for me, I smoke 20 silver Silk cut a day, they have 1mg of tar and 0.1mg of nicotine and 1mg carbon dioxide.
I started smoking when I was 16 and now 65, so a lot of years.

Hello & welcome Angela First of all, would it bother you that the e-cig was a fair bit bigger than a real cig?

I started smoking when I was 16 and now 65, so a lot of years. I started younger than you and ended up at the same age as you but chain-smoking unfiltered rollies, Angela That's not to one-up you, but I haven't had a single tobacco puff since 23 Oct 08 thanks to e-cigs so I hope you are mightily encouraged by that If you can be very broad-minded about shape 'n size Chrissie will have a real good 'un to recommend to you scylla

I don't mind the size, if it's going to stop me smoking, I am a bit concerned that the nicotine would be stronger than very low mg's that I am smoking at the moment, and I would get hooked on the e-cigs.

So's not to keep you waiting, Angie, I've copied Chrissie's whole post from Tadpole's thread - this gear is highly recommended: QUOTE CHRISSIE: One of the most popular e-cigs at the moment is the Riva from Liberty Flights. The battery lasts far longer between charges than the smaller e-cigs. Here is a link to the Riva 510 (Use discount code ECR69 for 15% off) www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=78And here is a link to a video review of the Riva 901 The Riva from Liberty Flights comes with dry cartridges so you will need to fill them with e-liquid straight away. My favourite tobacco flavour is LnB form Paradise Vapes. paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/index.php/cName/ejuice-tobaccoI will add to the above - order some "blue foam" from James (don't worry, you'll see what it's all about later) when you order juice. Suggestion - order the MEDIUM 12-18mg - you can always weaken it with vegetable glycerine from Boots/supermarket if too strong, but I expect it will be OK. Dive in, sort it all out later when you've got your kit in your mits scylla

Thanks for doing that Scylla it was cat feeding time - then me feeding time when Angela cam back Angela, as Bluecow says, you can use what ever nicotine strength e-liquid you like, no matter the size of the e-cig. Completely agree with Scylla, go for a medium strength of 12-18mg to begin with as you are a 20 a day smoker.

I have read the above, I feel very thick, but to me it sounds very complicated, anyway decided to order one from Liberty as Chrissie recommended and see how it goes.
Many thanks for all your kind replies, off to order one now, Beeper, do you think I smoked in past lives? I had a past life regression a while ago, it was interesting, but didn't see any cigs.
Thank you all for your words of encouragement.

Angela, honest it doesn't need to be at all complicated In many ways, it's a bit like buying a car & learning how to drive it Once you have found the car that suits you -you just have to get used to the gears, how to steer it & fill it with petrol Seriously though, when your e-cig arrives, if there is anything you are unsure of - just ask As Scylla & many of the other lovely members of this forum always say - the only daft questions are those that aren't asked
