Found some more Flat Ribbon for those that wanted to try it, I managed to order some 10m lengths but it wouldnt let me buy 25m lengths. so god knows how much he has left.

Anyway 3 x 10m lengths cost me 25 euros delivered from Germany

I think if people are willing to pay that much for 30 metres it may well worth me paying £1500 LOL!

I can't see too much benefit from it for those with Ody/Terminator type atties. The ones that are using flat wire seem to be getting 1.3 ohm coils which wont work with most VV mods. Think I'll stick to the round stuff

Vamo is happy at 1.2 ohms, and 4 wraps gave me 1.4 ohms on a spheroid, but this stuff is much more at home on a genny, you can do alot of wraps on that if required, but I always vape around 1.5 ohms and 3.8 volts, or 8 watts.

And for the ease of setup im happy paying 60 0dd pence a meter.

Still use my round wire on the greek stuff though

Where can I buy some of this from to try?It now says sold on the Ebay listing and i would love to give this stuff a try on my Aga-T and S.

I bought an AGA s the other day and made my second SS wick and used the ribbon kanthal on it. I think it is the .3 by .1 size. It worked first time and it worked really well, Easy to manipulate and straighten out after heating it first and so flat against the wick, that`s got to help evaporate the juice. That one ended up at 1.5 ohms.

Where did you buy the ribbon kanthal from Robby?It looks good and i can see by your photo that it grips onto the wick perfectly.I have cracked my Aga-T using the fag paper trick but really interested in trying this stuff out.I must have been asleep when this was first posted ;DOnly noticed the thread today B-|

I got it on Ebay Ian when a lot of people were talking about it. The guy actually sold out of it and offered me the smaller size, .3 by .1 and I am glad really. It works out well. If it had been twice the thickness it wouldnt have been so easy to get 6 turns on the coil. It really does sit well on the wick. I`ll see if I can find the link to the guy

It is very easy to work with Bomber, I havent done many SS wicks and coils, but because of the cross section of the wire, it tries to keep itself tidy if you know what I mean. Once you have it winding at the right angle it will stay like that with equal gaps and lays very flat on the wick. Must be a lot of surface area of the ribbon actually touching the wick which seems to lead to loads of vapour, the wick was the straw method from Todd`s video, good flavour and loads of vapour

Thanks for your helpful p.m Robby.I will see if i can get some ordered now,definately worth a try for me as i had alot of success using SS mesh strips on Silica wick.I can see the benefits of using this stuff for sure.

Dee, perhaps you can get some from the Mesh Company and sell on smaller quantities to us poor pensioners
