Hi guys I bought one of these www.exhalecigarette.co.uk/eXhale-Ego-CE5-Electronic-Cigarette-Starter-Kit-s/90.htmJust before xmas but I am struggling with them tbh still on the stinkies, anyway the clearos are all leaking all 3 of them even though I followed instructions, I did get some cartos from another place which dont leak but dont give out as much of a kick/throat hit one of these think it was www.vapingvision.co.uk/products/ego-ce5-cartomiser.htmlany ideas why so much leakage and what to do , how to get a decent kick, using mainly 20mg and got one b&h flavour @ 32 or 38mg which is horrid and harsh want to quit but its like pulling on fresh air at moment, I smoke roll ups with filters mainly if that helps cheers Ian

Greeny, your clearos shouldn't leak. Can you tell me where they are leaking from? Top, bottom, mouthpiece, etc.

Are you aware that you need to screw the mouthpiece in ?

1st things first, let's get you a better clearo. some of the CE3/4/5 clones are pants and are leaky as hell. The CE5's from vaperstall don't leak. my mrs has had 2 and one of her friends at work has one and none of them leak. www.vaperstall.com/vivi-nova-tank-system/ce5-clearomizer-rebuildable/Or, if you want something which still looks good on your battery... might I suggest the Vivi Nova 2ml www.vaperstall.com/vivi-nova-tank-system/v2-vivi-nova-2-ml-set-long-wick/If you get the vivi nova, you will also need a plinth to make look right. www.vaperstall.com/ego-batteries-and-accessories/ego-dct-cone-cover/Choose type D Now about your juice... Although you may think that grabbing a tobacco flavour might help you switch from the cigs quicker, I would say it actually takes longer as you are telling yourself "well they taste the same...." Try going for a sweet flavour... something which would not taste anything like a cig. That way, your body will come to associate the nicotine hit with something other than tobacco and after a week of vaping, roll ups will taste nasty to you making you want to grab your ecig more. Puffin do some really nice fruit flavours and an excellent Red Bull flavour if that floats your boat. puffin-eliquid.com/index.php?Many other flavours exist check out www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/ who makes some truly fantastic flavours!

Are you aware that you need to screw the mouthpiece in ? I'm thinking it's either that or the atty's unscrewing on the inside, leading to leaks down the centre tube. Exhale actually says on the site that everything needs tightening up before use as well. There's also the fact that these are quite high ohms at 2.6 to 2.8 - so it's not going to put out much vapour on that battery. I'd be wanting 2.4 max and preferably 1.8 to quit stinkies. ETA Greeny if you got the CE5 clearos like the ones from Vaping Vision, I have one of these and I love it. But these ones can be anything from 2 to 2.8 ohms, and if they're on the higher end of that you won't be getting much vapour or throat hit on those either. I would strongly suggest getting 1.8 Rainbows from Vape Escape here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388 and get a few spare heads while you're at it - you can rewick these eventually if you want to, but for the time being it's better to keep it simple and have a new head you can just screw on when the old one gets gunky. Slightly more expensive is a mini Vivi Nova, also from Vape Escape here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/mini-nova~404 but you do get 3 heads with it (1.8, 2.4 and 2.8, use the 1.8 to start with). Or you can try the Nano www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-nano-clearomiser~470 at £3 they're a steal, they hold 1.1ml so not as much as the Rainbow or the Nova but they're cheap and I've heard a lot of good things about them. And I second Chiller's comments about juice. Don't try to find one that tastes like burning baccy, you won't find one. Instead, pick a flavour you like (fruits, custard, apple pie, mint and so on). Grizwald at Vape Escape does 5ml samples you can try out before you buy a big bottle. If you get one you don't like, don't bin it yet - your tastes will change quite dramatically once you've got rid of the rollies and what you hate now you may well love this time next week (and vice versa).

Run your finger along the base of the "glass" I find sometimes mine starts to seperate and needs pushing back in to place, that when you get the greasy area.
I find that I often can feel it easier than seeing it, that's why I suggest running your finger over it to see if there is a gap.

I am sure you are aware of this, please forgive me if you are, but are you inhaling the Vape really slowly, it`s the opposite of the ciggies.

I found those CE5's leaked a little bit, through the air hole. I was having to clean the top of the battery several times a day. I assume the fit of the wick or the seal between the tip and the top of the head was not great. The tube is a push fit onto connector, and that leak was removed with some adhesive. I was never that happy with them. Vivi nova's work well when you get good one's, I've bought them from Vapeescape and Liberty Flights and had no leaks from any of these. They do look a little large on Ego-t's though
