Hi, I am Neebie in these kind of forum but I would like to know if anybody had some issue with KR808D-M3 clearomizer (having a burning taste). I did try several thing: waiting for juice to be totally soaked, sreew-unsreew the batt-clearo section, I still have a problem after 3-4 first puffs. It looks like to me too much air in entering the side-holes and not anough juice is going into the coil. Anyone has a feedback on this? Or I just have a bad clearo in hand?.... Thanks

Hi Bizz, #welcome2# to AAEC I'm not familiar with the KR808D clearo. Do you have a link to what you have?

I think these ones are similar to the Ce4 or ce5. Do you know what ratio liquid you are using? Like PG/VG? Sometimes if the e-liquid is too thick it tends to not wick well.

You could be burning the juice. Drop the voltage or cain it a bit less, If I go to town on it the atty gets really hot and can burn the juices even at low to medium voltages.

Thanks Is it a brand new M3? I had a few problems with the 510 version of these, mostly as the juice was too thick for it.

I am using a 50/50 ratio PG:VG. You can find those clearos on evcigarettes.com and on healthcabin.com I am using a brand new clearos and after 3-4 puffs (no over-heating or warm-clearo), it is tasting like plastic burn. The voltage of my standard 808 280 mAh battery is between 3.3 and 3.7V I believe and I do not thing this is too high to the clearos in question (2.8 Ohm). As an update, I did try to remove the top drip tip and to vape without and the flavor was absolutly great; no burning taste at all and huge clouds of vapor. If you take the original drip-tip out just a bit (place it on the top just anough to avoid leaking but not tightly sealed), you will enjoy the same good experience. Now, it seems to me that playing with the drip-tip (or other drip-tip) is crutial for optimal results. What do you think? Maybe a bad engenering? I observed the same issue with CE2 808 clearos and I did solve it eh same way. Just with a small space between the juice, the center hole tubing and the drip-tip

Hi Bizzmuth, welcome to the forum. I've been using these M3 clearos (and also the 510 threaded version) for several months now and found them excellent. 50/50 liquid should not be too thick and I have used all-VG liquid in them successfully as well, not found they need as much tipping-and-swirling as the larger capacity Vision/CE4+ types do either.
Wondering if perhaps the one you have started with has maybe a faulty top part as what you have described is not a problem that I've had with them myself. If you have more than one I'd try opening another and replacing just the top part to see if that makes a difference - you shouldn't have to muck about with one like this for it to work properly.
Your battery should be just fine for this clearo (definitely not too much voltage) but if you do get into these it may well be worth getting some of the M3 batteries to go with them. They look smashing together and last longer as well as they are 380mAhs.

Thank you for you quick answer Tetsab. I will look into it (switching the drip-tip for another one) and I will get back to you about it. In the mean time, if you have another hint about my problem, feel free to post it. Maybe somebody esle is troubleshouting that ike me.
