I actually think they're quite cute, bless 'em. They look a bit grumpy, but I'm sure I would if I was freezing my ass off half a mile up a tree

What was that scary film based in the jungle with marines and an alien type thing that none could see 'til near the end picking them off one by one?
The way all the chicks are bumbling about reminds me of the monster.

I do pop in every day too, MM, but if we don't say anything we don't see each other The other day I was struck by the sight of "whole feathers" so took a s'shot: MM, please could you go to the osprey page and take a screen shot OR make a note of exactly what it's telling you as to what you need? We do need to get you sorted before Hatch Day One!!! scylla x

I'm thinking of MM and Clutz this morning because I've just tried to play a video of a Lidl blender in action (just got my "weekly specials" email from them) and an old problem has resurged > I've no idea what causes it and nobody could help me on the techie board either All is well at the eyrie, that's a comfort Are we sharing Grumps's friend's swallows' nest? A couple of days ago I had a lovely view of one of them lining the nest with white feathers, aww. We mustn't stay looking at that webcam for long periods tho because the webcam isn't up to hosting lots of viewers, apparently. I think it's a bit early for it at the mo, but do have a peek later: scotty.wild1.net/scylla

There's slanty rain coming down on EJ but it looks like sleet She keeps snuggling on the eggs, dear soul MM, see the notice at the bottom of this pic about Windows Media Player required? Is that the message you are seeing? Because, as you can see, it's always there and the video of the birdie is showing fine: So if that's what you are seeing, it may be irrelevant to the problem ??? scylla

YAY!!! You saw it here first (Don't be disappointed, there is honestly a chick in there.) I was abluting in the bathroom (where else?) and heard EJ piping up, it sounded "special", so took netbook into b'room with me. She didn't stop for a-g-e-s, and Odin flew in with a fish and she didn't get up, he picked at the fish a bit and flew off, she carried on piping, then Odin came back with another fish and had a pick at it, she still didn't get up - and eventually she did and there was this little fluffy head bobbing about. Trouble is, it does all blurry when full screen, and then the movement blurs it too, so this is what you've got: Teeheeeeeeeeeeeee Apparently chicky was born 10.30 last night. scylla

I think Odin is drunk with sucess - he flew in and started picking around the nest, picked up a stick and placed it on EJ's back Then he staggered around the nest and sat on EJ's head I couldn't get a shot of that because I had the stick photo on the clipboard... frustrating. scylla

LOL Clutter, I've just had my younger one laughing. There were the two younger ones standing huddled together at the far end of the nest and the older one the other side. I told the lad that they were whispering to each other, they were saying that the other one was a greedy pig and they were going to push him over the side! I love this post Dee MM

I do get the bit about the Media Player but I have that in working order. I get a strip across the top saying something about Firefox Add-ons, then right in the middle of pic a big arrow to download add-ons, I click on that then it does whatever it does - then it tells me it can't and to do it manually - do that - nothing happens!!! Anyway, I will try a screen shot later - must do some work. I packed yet another box yesterday with my laminator and other things and now it's too heavy for me to move - it's right in the middle of my room..............off to find a strong man!!!! MM

Is this what you get, MM? I got it just now ??? I use Opera for the non-eagle cams. I clicked on the grey circle until the black video rectangle appeared and the stream loaded as usual. scylla x

Just been watching EJ feed the baby - and thought how this dear little baby will become the pushy Big Un when they're all hatched.
I didn't take a shot because the PQ is so poor.

MM, I wonder if installing the latest Flash player would help, it won't do any harm anyway and it's important to keep it up to date because of security issues - there's been a new version within the last week: get.adobe.com/flashplayer/I think it will write itself over the previous. scylla
