I like that link Scyll, I can even catch up on some things. Although I'm not sure I wanted to watch the camels mating.........but I did.
Are there only two baby eagles? Went off to have another look, found myself watching all sorts of things.
I must, I MUST do some work!!!! MM

One of the eagle cams cannot be used so we only have a very close-up view of the eyrie, meaning there's a lot of it out of our sight. I'm seeing the blurry backs of 4 very wet birds at the mo, 3 standing and one beyond them crouching down.

MM Silverlight or Silverlink, whatever it is called is a Microsoft app. Try it again and make sure you 'run' it, not just save.
Scylla, Great links, thank you. I've not been seeing the chicks when I viewed the web cam live link.

The clips that get put on YouTube are clearer than the live cam, IMO. There was a delightful moment this evening, just before dusk, when one chick poked it's head out from under EJ's breast and had a good look around for a minute or two - soon went back to cosiness though I'm not the only watcher who thought there was something major going on a day or two ago. The little new chick was wobbling against the half-eggshell making it look as though something might be emerging, most confusing in the blurry pic. Also, it was thought that the new chick was Egg No3 and that No2 must have failed, but now they've looked back at video (egg shapes) and decided that new chick = Egg No2, and there may still be hope for Egg No3 - but not a lot. scylla x

Surprised me how vocal the osspring are. As cute as the veriest cutest things, they are. Lovely sound on that camera when the wind drops. I leave the sound on to get the birdsong whenever I can. I saw a little of Odin this afternoon. Well, his tail feathers and rear end

Odin is a lovely bird But I can't help wondering what he gets up to I just had rather a weepy, angst-ridden 5 minutes watching the latest feeding session - EJ seemed to be a bit bonkers, offering food then changing her mind and eating it herself, offering food to No2 then taking it away and giving it to No1 - I think No2 got 3 good mouthfuls altogether but can't swear to it. There seemed to be a big difference in the size of the 2 chicks just now. But look what happened with our eagles - it'll all be OK in the end (They're just hanging around waiting for something to happen at the mo ) scylla Look what I nicked from... oops, can't remember which RSPB member:

I've just watched a feeding session which has left me in bits No2 chick got 2 good mouthfuls that I saw, whilst No1 got umpteen, scores!!! The difference in size is huge. I know I'm not being scientific, but it's tearing me apart. scylla

Just caught the ending of another feed. No1 chick has lain itself right across No2, who is prostrate and helpless as EJ resumes sitting I was just as bad as you over the littlest eaglet, MM. I don't think I'm cut out for this, one needs to be detached scylla x

There's a nice clear view of the eagles now, but the 3 eaglets (they must be teenagers now) are flapping and preening with their backs to me. Can't see any size difference from this view.

Just watched an amazing feeding session - albeit, as you say, the biggy is getting it all! Mum gave the tiddler two bits. Poor little mite. But - horror of horrors - after two minutes of mum yanking bits off the fish/eel, its tail started flapping!

I saw that Hanow, it's happened before but that time it was worse than usual I'm telling myself it's to do with the nervous system - well, of course it is, but you know what I mean, automatic responses ??? Just now saw No2 get a a better feed - s/he does tend to drop bits though. By the way, the commenters on the blog call No1 Star and No2 Storm Just nabbed this pic from the forum = "Storm to the fore" s/he's learning! scylla
