Hi everyone. I'm thinking of mixing my own juices. Plan to buy some stuff tomorrow (payday). I know I need to get hold of some nic base, which I hear I can get from a few places, such as Nicvape or postmodern smoking. But what's the best flavourings to get? I've heard flavourart is good, and capella and cupcake world.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm sure it's all down to personal taste, but which specific flavours and vendors do you like? Which are considered gourmet?
I'll be aiming to make non-tobacco juices. Primarily chocolatey, caramelly juices, some fruity ones.
I hope you can help. Cheers.

Post Modern does a Mixing Starter set Boo . . . everything you need to get going, bar flavouring and he does also stock F'arts concentrates. www.postmodernsmoking.com/index.php/shop/diy-e-liquid-mixing-1/mixing-accessories/diy-mixing-starter-kit.htmlAs for the ' best ' flavourings, I don't think there is one as such, most of us use a mixture from all the main Flavour Houses . . . Capella's are probably good to start with if you enjoy dessert/candy type flavours. I find a lot of them are great standalones, or only require a little tinkering to get a good result from, which is useful when you're first starting out.

Cheers, Perps. I think I'll do a little mix n matching, and probs best get some of that wizard stuff and dulce leche (sic?) everyone recommends. Dead exciting. And what with being pregnant, I can mix really low nicotine but maybe play around with it so as to still get a throat hit of some sort.
What are your favourite caramel and chocolate flavours? I'd ideally like to nail a chocolate juice, since there aren't many good ones. And as for caramel, the only juice I've tasted which has a gorgeous caramel is some of Froggy's juices. I wonder which he uses.
You know those chocolate digestives with caramel inside? One day I'd like to achieve that.

Yes, I'd certainly get some Vape Wizard, Dulce de Leche and a sweetner of some sort Boo, they're great mixing basics to have in stock. As for nice Caramel/Choccie flavours, I like/have used: TPA Caramel Original Capella Caramel CCW Caramel ( pleasant but quite weak I found, might be the one Frog uses? ) TPA Double Dark Chocolate F'art Chocolate Capella - All their chocs I've used have been very authentic Health Cabin Chocolate Cake If you're after a Chocolate biccie mix Boo, I'm sure Esme has posted one on our Recipe Collection sticky, F'art also do a very nice Cookie flavouring, that makes a great base to start from.

I've had a gander at the recipes page and some of them look bloody lovely. And I am inspired. One thing's for sure - my credit card is gonna get brutalised tomorrow.
Quick question - what, prey, is dulce de leche? A specific flavour or a special wizardy mix thing?

It's a flavour Boo, though I wouldn't care to vape it by itself, though I have seen it available . . . said to be based on the creamy Hagen Daz ice cream.
Brilliant for rescuing a mix from disaster, ready mixes as well, or for adding a creamy, non vanilla/cream element to a brew.

Dulche de leche is a Brazilian sweet sauce that normally goes on ice cream. In the mixing world it adds a slight caramel flavour and smoothens out a mix. It's like a MTS Vape wizard with a big stick!

And also, I notice that in some recipes, Asda rum was used. This work OK? Cuz I have some lovely spiced rum in the house...

I would "guess" that the spiced rum won't be concentrated enough for a mix. My advice (as a doctor) would be to drink it.
NB. At no point has FirinBlanks ever been or will likely be a doctor
