Hi everyone,
Just thought I would say Hi and announce to the world that I have had my first taste of vaping. I got my e cig about an hour ago, it just finished charging and I jumped straight in and had a go.
I should say that I have been smoking about 20 a day for about 24 years. I would smoke more than that if I could afford it but the government helped keep my addiction down with their tax rises.
Anyway I'm no longer a vaping virgin. I bought a cheap kit off t'internet that came with 7 'high' refills. After a few puffs I'm thinking they may be a bit strong for me. I ordered high as I thought that would match my smoking habit but I think maybe I'll try a weaker mix. Also I would probably like some fresh, fruity flavours to convince my brain that it's better for me. I never really liked the taste and smell of the real ones anyway.
As far as the vaping goes, it's pretty similar to a real ciggy. There was a decent amount of sensation from it and I felt the same as if I was smoking an analogue.( Picking up the lingo!) There was a small amount of vapour on the exhale, just enough to make me believe I'm doing it right.
I'm going to try and use it the same as I would normally smoke and see if I feel any different. So far though I'm impressed. I'll update this in a day or two to see if I've changed my mind.

Hi Lee Remind me where you bought your e-cig from. I know it's a super-mini but would just like to check out the exact model for you. If you get on with the super-mini, you will love something bigger & better like the Riva River is right, James' juices are good. If you fancy fruity ones, here's a link to his fruit selection : - paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/index.php/page/1/cName/ejuice-fruty/sort/2a

Thanks for the suggestion River, it's like being a kid in a candy store with the amount of flavours you can get! Just have to convince her outdoors (she works I don't) to let me buy a few flavours. Chrissie I got the kit from here. www.eecwholesale.co.uk/Electric,electronic_e-cig_cigarette_with_7_free_refils_KIT/p172420_1731271.aspx

I just went on youtube to check out some MORE reviews of Riva's and had this video waiting for me in the suggestions. A bit strange as it's the exact e cig I have. Computers know everything these days!

Thanks Lee, can't tell you what model it is for certain though without seeing the atomiser. Does it look like this (RN4081) : - Or the one in this pic - a DSE103 : -

Thanks again River! Sounds like a good deal. I'll keep hold of those details.
Chrissie the atomiser is similar to the one in the second picture but has metal fillament, brillo pad like stuff in an inverted v shape on it.

About an hour in now and it's getting a bit better. I don't know if the juice is flowing better or maybe there was primer on the atty but it seems a lot smoother now.
I noticed the red LED flashing on the bottom when I was taking a long drag, is that the cut off or low battery? It doesn't say anything in the instructions.

The LED flashing could be the cut off or that the battery needs recharging - depends (from memory) how many times it flashes.

I tried another long draw and it flashed again so maybe a cut off. I've only had about 20 drags on it so I hope it isn't the battery!
