Thanks for the replies! Taking everything into account, I'll do some more research after work tomorrow with the suggestions and links you've all provided (i guess I should avoid the website I linked too) As for batteries...I always got by on 1 before, but then again I work with PCs so was never short of a USB port to top the charge up throughout the day Maybe if I just got a set/kit with 2 batteries then we can share them and see what we think before buying more. Thanks again guys! Good luck. I guess keeping the number of batteries down to a minimum is OK if you are by a usb a lot. PCCs are always the most expensive part of a mini e-cig kit. You could just order 2 decent 510 batteries, some cartomisers/liquid and carry on as before, except paying less for the cost of e-lite refills. This morning, I thought I'd compare a joyetech manual battery vs and E-Lite. Not even close...

Even if you are near a USB port most of the day, it makes sense to have more than the bare minimum of kit as unfortunately we can't just pop to the local spar if we need a new battery suddenly

Hello and #welcome2# monki77, Anything above 650 mahs should be OK or maybe a Riva I started out with a cigalike soon upgraded, found them to be a waste of money but it did get me on to vaping.

Hello & welcome Monki E-lites are over priced & under perform & aren't compatible with any of the spares that all the good UK vendors sell Do look into going for an eGo or Riva. The site you linked to worries me a tad - can't explain why, but my gut feeling is they may be drop shippers? Not sure it fully complies with DSR

HI I have just updated myself to a Halo ultra (ego) with a tank and a bottle of virginia blend. Got to say they are miles better the the e-lites. Try this site out www.rojeans.co.uk got some great information as I went to the shop were he sells them in liverpool. The pack I bought had 2 batteries a 650 and a 1000mAh 3 tanks charger and a 30ml bottle of e-liquid for £40. 100X better now.

Hi Monki. Just my two pennorth here. The link djs put to the Vapeescape PCC kit is a good one of it's genre. I got one just for the sake of having something small and rechargeable in the car and stuff. It has a short battery life but you can have one battery charging whilst using the other and it is alright. If you need the small Cig-a-like stuff that would be one to look at.

Hi, I was thinking, if you really want to keep to the small size ecigs, you can get something called an ecab. Its thinner than an ego, comes with 2 350mah batteries and an atomizer. They won't take any mods (eg vivi nova, CE5, DCT, etc) as they don't have a 510 connection but, I've had a go on one and apart from looking good, they work well too.
They are more expensive than what your looking at but they are nice and small.

Taking into account all your suggestions and gradually being able to make sense of what's on offer (there's so much!) i (think) i've narrowed it down to an Ego CE4 (650mah version), an ecab (puts me off not being 510) or the 510-T (seems similar to ecab, but 510 and a tank). The 510-T seems very slim pickings in UK (for a genuine one). The ecab looks great....but no 510 =/ The ego ce4 seems like a winner....but the size puts me off. Oh why am i so picky! :-[

The ego T will be around the same size as the ego ce4, and although these ego tanks look like a great faff free design, they're actually pants, probably why there are few about now as nobody would re-purchase

Its ok been picky, If i was you i'd go for a large size battery like the 1100 mah , for two reasons one you will not have to charge it all the time two it will last alot longer, prob get two days vaping per charge , i know its a little more money , but its worth paying the little extra. A 650mah will prob only just last a day then your charging it again.

When I bought my Riva 1100 I had it recommended to buy a 3rd battery. Im a 12 hour shift worker who could easily get thru 30 rollies in a shift. But I have never got close to killing a battery yet on my shift. But maybe I just vape less than I smoked.
