Hi all..... Recieved my first DCT today followed the filling instructions etc but I'm feeling as if I have to "draw" in a lot harder than I've been used to , is this normal ? I'm still relatively new to all this vaping but happily haven't had a stinkie since I made the change on Christmas day.... I've used CE4's and Novas but nothing for me beats a Boge 510 SR carto I think they're bloody fantastic but obviously the draw-back with them is having to constantly top them up which is why I thought I'd give the tank system a go..... The carto in the tank only has one 1mm hole near the bottom , could this be the reason of the harder inhale ? Also do I push the carto from the bottom all the way up as far as it will go so the top bit is sticking up through the top where the drip tip goes or is it supposed to be flush at the bottom with the bottom of the tank which would mean the drip tip is slightly pushed in a bit at the top ? I bought some extra cartos with the tank and these ones have 2 1mm holes in the would this make any difference in my draw at all ?? Sorry for going on a bit but I appreciate your help as always....

Should be flush at the bottom ...
edited to ask if you are using carto's with the flange at the bottom
some questions
Are you getting any kind of hit ? Have you filled the carto first and let it settle a while? Also if you are using VG based liquids a single hole may not be enough since they are thicker Are you using the same device as you use the Boge's on? Might be an airflow problem

Also, you can dry drawing on it without firing the e-cig. This should force juice into the carto, you can check this is working by looking for the bubbles

Hi.... Yes I'm getting the hit , filled the tank first and inhaled to draw liquid into the carto , juice is 50/50 and my device is a twist which I use with the Boge's...... Don't think it has a flange it just pushes all the way up until it sticks out a bit up the top.... Here is a pic of the carto...... Attachments:

With the tank disconnected from the battery is the draw OK? If it is then it's a airflow problem, you can sometimes improve this by using a ego to 510 adapter.

It's a airflow problem then the carto has a air hole just above the threads and when screwed into your battery it can't breathe, have you got another battery to try? Or as I said previously use a Ego to 510 adapter between your battery and carto, this should solve it. Oh and try it without the plinth, if it's the plinth causing the tight draw, either leave it out or don't screw it on tight.

Ok that's an ego dct ... Actually never used one before. Is the carto punched hole visible when inserted?

The only way you'll get it to work with your batteries is to get a adapter, but it will leave a gap between the taknk and battery I tell you what, I'm feeling generous if you PM me your address I'll send you one of these : No drip tip though..... and it's not brand new but in VGC. Let me know if you want one?

I'd consider contacting your vendor. It's appears ego threaded and should work with your ego threaded batteries How tightly screwed is it to the battery?

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I keep on trying things and going back to the Boges. They just work. The filling is a bit annoying but for my daily vape I keep a bunch going (currently about seven) and fill them all at once. Keeps me going a few hours at least.

Hi davey, That looks like the model we sell, you may of even purchased from us. It shouldn't be an airflow problem at the connection, as they work fine with EGO batteries. It may be that your cartomizer is flooded slightly with e-liquid. Even the smallest blob can make it feel like no air is coming through. Un-screwing from the battery and then doing a few good hard pulls on the drip tip should clear it. If you hear gurgling or feel liquid coming up then it is flooded. If not please email us your order number at lastcig.co.uk/index.php?route=information/contact, and we will send you a replacement cartomizer. Hope this helps
