I thought I might have a day off posting new threads and all that, but I'd appreciate some comments from the good folk on the forum. 5 weeks ago, I ordered some small items from a "new-to-me" vendor. It was a kind of a trial order - they have plenty of "kit" of interest to me, stuff that other vendors don't sell. One of the liquids was so terrible, I had to complain. Now, I know I'm an awkward so and so on occasions, but I must have had getting close to 70 either "sample" or 5 or 10ml e-liquids over the last 1/2 year. I only ever asked for one to be replaced, after killing off a brand new 510 atomiser and instantly destroying a new Boge carto, I think that was a fair enough request. I have had liquids I "don't like, don't enjoy, won't vape etc" but would never ask for a replacement. This was different though. I have asked 3 vapers to try it, and all of them agree, it's an absolute stinker. They ignored my email for 2-3 weeks, then after I resent it, I got an apology offering a replacement. 17th Dec. Order. 19th Dec. Complaint. 9th Jan. Offer of replacement. 10th Jan. Confirmed by me, with a note of gratitude and promise to keep using them and publicly support them and their products. Since then. Nothing. NOT a thing. emailed on Monday this week, asking if something had gone wrong. Nothing. No email, no juice. - - - - I am close to giving up. It's not the cost of the liquid (I really have got better things to do with my time than write emails for the sake of £5) It's the fact I bought something which is either very wrong or very poorly described. Either way, I don't think a replacement is asking a lot. I also don't like emails agreeing to something and then sweet * * happening. If they'd told me...."no, never in a million years could we have sold you a duff product"....then I'd know where I stood. There are some GREAT vendors out there - we know who they are. Maybe some folk aren't cut out for greatness, maybe actually doing the right thing is not in some business vocabulary. Maybe giving someone "your word" by the medium of an email is actually not worth the screen it's printed on. > I'm not loosing any sleep over it, but I will name and shame.

I'd love to know which vendor just because I had a similar experience before xmas with a recommended vendor on here - again frankly frightful juice quality. I didn't complain much since I put it down to experience the thought that maybe I had been lucky with the other juices I'd tried elsewhere.

If you are going to complain at least give the person you are complaining to time to respond the dates you have given are impracticle to work to .. just like my work schedule

Can I just point out that we have a list of vendors on this forum. We do not recommend any of them but we do now insist that they comply with DSRs before they can have vendor status.
If we feel there is no other option we have been known to revoke vendor status in certain circumstances.
We have a sub board for vendor reviews and a thread 'kudos to vendors'.
Members need to do a bit of homework, new vendors are popping up every day, so apart from making sure these vendors comply with DSRs there really isn't anything else we can do!

I don't think I'd ask for a liquid to be repaid, you generally know what you are getting from a vendor, there are enough reviews about. I have had some liquids that I hated, but other people loved them so who can judge? And we are talking, hated even smelling, vaping was horrible. I often stand clear on naming and shaming, because I too am a one man business like many of the vendors and it's their livelihood we are often talking about here. Only you can know if they really need to be named, emails can slip through the net when you are busy, it's happened to me with some of the top names often talked about on here, but in the end they came good. You know where not to go back to and if they don't reply to your emails, I would say name them in the end, give them a good chance though.

Karma, you all do too much as it is. The thing is, I quite like these guys. But why say you'll do something and then not do it? It doesn't make sense.

I feel your frustration and totally understand it's not the money it's the service. HOWEVER items arrived on 17th you complained on 19th. Have you tried it again recently? The reason I ask is some juices do taste disgusting at first as they have had no time to steep. Having had a couple of similar fights myself I'm not having a go just asking the question. It amazes new in the vaping world the amount of people who think terrible service or under par items are ok. It wouldn't be accepted in the real world!
