I bought mine from a UK vendor (Jason in fact) a month ago. It's been in my hand 24/7 from the day I had it and have got to say the tool is brilliant in fact I will go as far as to say its the best money spent on gear in the 12 months that I have been vaping.I have never had reason to complain with any of the UK vendors I have dealt with, and if there is ever a problem they have all been very quick to address it. I know there are better quality mods on the market, and no doubt will outlast the Vamo but it is not everyone that can afford to fork out £200.And being a pensioner the Vamo's price suits me fine.

I have 2 x Vamo's a V1 (rubber buttons) and a V2 and mine does the same as your Jake. If I use crappy Trustfire 18650's Using the Panasonic CGR1660CH batteries they perfom faultlessly and I have the old type springs in both of mine (slightly stretched) but I have ordered 2 new end caps from health cabin.

Recieved 3 hot springs from Altsmoke USA yesterday as iVapour-Elixer are still out of stock and didn't realise untill after I'd ordered that Jason sold them, although I've had no trouble with either of my Vamos the battery rattling gave it a cheap feel now they feel nice and solid. Dave

Okidoki cheers guys, going to order a new spring and give that a shot.
Just out of curiosity because I heard something to do with being used in mini mode. Would this still be ok in full mode as I do not have any of the smaller batts? (cant remember the name of them, they are AW IMRs anyways)

Just thought I would give an update.
Vendor is a top chap and has sent out a replacment spring with cap and said if I have any problems with it he is more than happy to sort it out.
Looking forward to giving it a go as I only had about an hours use out of my vamo and it is a good little device. Very keen to try it in mini mode but unfortunatly do not have small enough batts for the job.

Never had the 'switching off' issue with the Vamo in mini mode, only seemed to do it with the bigger battery. Anyhooo, as I said earlier it's been fixed by fitting a hot spring. Hope you get yours sorted.
