Prob been done B4, but thought I'd ask??

Hi folks!

My user name is McSquenks.. My name is Graeme McCormack...I'm 37 this year on 4th July(I wish I looked liked Tom Cruise in the Movie "Born on the 4th of July") however I digress...Many Moons ago my younger brother and his mates came up with "Monikers/Nicknames" for all their Crowd eg. Scott Stevenson became "Big Stevo"(R.I.P), Jon Wilson became "T-Rex", Remo Crolla became "Big Rems", my much loved Brother Garry became "The Trout"(after his seemingly Fish shaped Lips!!(My Dad and I still call him "The Trout" by the way!), but here's the thing Oor Garry only became "The Trout" after much deliberation between "The Boys", because they all thought our surname was amusing??? I mean "McCORMACK" is not the most amusing surname on the Planet(It is also & still referred to, as McSquee/McSquenkleberry/McSqueemack/ & McSquenks - from which I derived my own "Moniker" - I was Senior McSquenks for a fair few years..........Until I decided I was going to keep "McSquenks"!!

I'm telling you, there were many a hilarious evening spent in my Parents back room, coming up with many names for People!!

Would love to hear a story or 2 on how you Guys & Gals received or started using your "Screen Names"!!

I joined the forum having recently bought a look-alike and enjoying it. I could see the potential and thought that with this One Day I'll Quit. So I used that as my screen name. Within a couple of days I'd graduated to a Riva and suddenly realised I'd forgotten to smoke cigarettes. They were sitting there un-used. So very quickly I became One Day I did Quit but by then the name had stuck. Most people here just refer to me as Oneday now, so the 'surname' is irrelevant

I collect other peoples rubbish, have done for ever. Sometimes I make something of it and sometimes not.
But often I find a use for it somewhere.

Most things I build, are rebuilt out of something I've scrounged from somewhere.

Seeing a moaning skiver who'd rather sit in a hospital bed with a minor ailment than do anything worthwhile always struck me as pretty funny - if a bit immoral.

I've had this username for years now, back when the Nightmare On Elm Street films were all the rage and computers ran off coal and steam, I played a small community game based on the films. I can't remember it's name now, but I remember as a group we had to find and kill Freddy. I somehow always ended up being the one who had to lure him out and ended up getting the nickname Kruegerbait.

I know it sounds fun, but looking back it was actually a terrrible game that most of the time ended in mass confusion.
