Mine also turned up today all safe and sound.

Darth, I've managed .20 Kanthal to .20mm 99 Silver but found it better to hold the Silver in the standy-up clip and move the Kanthal to connect to the Silver. Also around 4 seconds was the warm up time not the 5 I've seen mentioned earlier. Much more than that and the silver does seem to vapourise!

I'm sorry I haven't updated this thread in a while but I've had a hell of a time this last month. First I did my back in and was laid up for a while, then the whole household came down with a virus, then as we were getting over it my Dad who had terminal cancer and i've been caring for passed away. I'm sure you can imagine it's a nightmare sorting everything out on top of everything else.

On a lighter note hopefully next week the zappers/welders will be back on sale but a friend of mine and Vendor here will be selling them from his website www.juice-kitchen.co.uk/ , they will be made to order and the same price but this should also make things easier for anyone buying and doing it through a legit business.

Some joy with Kanthal and silver (both 0.2mm) but not perfected. I put the silver wire in the positive clip and just the end of the Kanthal in the negative leaving 40 or 50 mm so that the Kanthal acts as a resistor. Needs about 4 seconds.

You state above that the vendor will be selling at the same price.

Your OP says £25 + p&p but the vendor is selling for £35.

Yes I did think that was going to be the case at the time but with improved boxes and the vendors costs that is the new price mate.
