VapeEscape says "Low resistance cartomisers are suitable for batteries with a 510 thread such as Ego, Ego-T and Riva batteries. They should only be used on batteries of a minimum 450mAh.." Perhaps 510 is a bit close to that. Also says in the Riva 1100 description: "We do not recommend the use of atomisers with a resistance lower than 2ohms on Riva Batteries". Not sure why there'd be a difference between an atty and a cart as far as this goes.

I think it means 'atomisers' in general. A carto is an atomiser as is a Vivi as is a genesis etc.

I think you are probably right Roger. It is also possible Jason is being a bit over-cautious - I've seen posts from people who use their 1100 Rivas with low-res without apparent ill-effects. I looked this stuff up because I have a 400mah spinner for out & about. I decided to use it with my 1.8 Nova heads, but not with dual-coil LR or 306.

Nah not over catious at all , I've creamed 2 riva batteries using low res

Not that I've been using my Riva batts for a while anyway but thanks for the warning as I'm starting to move over exclusively to LR cartos.
