Resistance issues zmax vivi nova? :s:(

Ok so here's the deal I'm using some vivi novas with some new 1.8 heads on my zmax and mini lavatube the heads are showing a constant 1.7 on the lavatube and can't go much above 3.2 without the flavour starting to taste odd , now on the zmax they seem fine up to 3.5 but the resistance seems to be jumping around between 1.6 and up as high as 8 and occasionally not firing at all 

I've already had 2 destroyed one just stoped working and another just suddenly burnt and tastes bloody awful this happened when I was using the zmax in wattage mode set to 6w I'm guessing the zmax increased the power to achieve the 6 wats when the resistance jumped up?? I've spent a few days now tryin to find info about what's going on here but no luck does anyone have a clue?
I've had to set it to just 3v now to avoid random burning but I'm still getting jumpy resistances and the odd no fire 

Do I have some dodgy heads or is my zmax playin up its really frustrating wasting all this juice

no one? Must be the heads I took them off and checked them with the multi meter and they won't even give a straight reading just erratically jumping around bout the 40.0 ohms :s confused demon nova heads what's goin on

Try rewicking/wiring that head. Sounds like a loose contact in there

cheerz guys , I'm a bit miffed its the same on the 3 ive tryed out of the 5 pack i bought think ill have a word with the vendor doesnt seem right to pay for them and have to rewick to use them lol

Just my ten pence worth but I've been led to believe the circuitry in the Zmax is the same as the vamo and older vamo's had a 6watt bug which meant that when set to that wattage it actually put out 15, cornersums is the one to ask about that.

Boggling my brain to that's why I had to post and ask , dont get why the resistance is changing up and down so much guess its Gota be like Blakey said and be dodgy wire or something

Stitch..............another thought.......sometimes, when you unscrew the top to fill the tank, it also unscrews the head. Make sure the head is screwed on tight enough before you put the top back on. Also, make sure the centre post hasn't pushed up inside the atty & is affecting the connection to the battery. You can push it back down, by pressing on the centre post.

Thanks Chris yeah I've checked that doesn't seem to have made any difference they are well screwed on still alternating between 1.6 and 1.9 , I've sent the vendor a message now I m gona give up on them for now it's kinda ruining the whole vape experiance for me :/ Gota wait for positive today with a new vivi from a different vendor

This vaping malarky is all a big learning curve... it can be frustrating sometimes, but stick with it...It'll all be worth it & don't hesitate to post any problems on here........There's a solution to everything........

has the zmax got 2 modes like the vamo, on the vamo i popped coils orrible tastes,had it on wild hog mode[no1] put it on mode 2 not a problem no
sometimes resistance is futile lol

why waste juice syringe it back out

Stitch, I moved from the Lavatube (4 button) to the Zmax (1 button) and found I kept blowing coils, I thought the Zmax was faulty at 1st but then realised I kept activating the menu and randomly changing settings! Not saying that's your problem, just something to keep in mind.

I rewicked mine now they are much better. Also had one out of the box said 2.8 and was 3.6 when tested lol. Not a dodgy meter either its a fluke and its just been calibrated.
