In light of this I though I'd check all my novas, I have a couple of mk1s from back when they were first conceived and 4 mk2s and 2 of the mk3 stvs, I cleaned the top cap from all of them and there's not a trace of any problem what so ever, They all came up shiny new. The only juices that make it into a nova for me are cocomel, whiskey cream, candy twist, Gvc, arctic honey & black cat. None of these have acidic qualities. May be an idea to post the juices that you have been using and anybody else that's got this issue post the the juice that they were using and then we can try to get to the bottom of this. I was expecting a mass of "mines doing this too" posts but it's strangely quiet its grants vanilla & custard I used It all the time in this one for about 2.5 months, and lets hope you guys are right and it is the only one.

How could it be the only one if it is caused by something used in the manufacturing process? Are Mini Novas made from the same material as Vivi Novas?

I think it's to do with the type of plating or the method used...One is a hard chrome plating and the other is decorative..The hard chrome plating seen on some seems to be fine. The decorative chrome plate which is a easier and less expensive process deposits a very thin layer of chromium over the copper primer plate. The thin layer could also be because of the way chrome plating works and the areas which are hard to get to usually end up having the thinnest layer.
I have some stuff here where the plating has gone exposing the copper plating underneath..It's just in places where no one looks and usually closest to the heat source ie., the coil..So I infer it's a combination of juice and heat but I have no idea what juices were used.

the place i noticed it at 1st was where the white rubber bung or plug on the top of the atty rubs againts the top when you put the top on, it makes the seal , so I suppose whats happend the liquid has made the paint soft and the rubber plug or bung has rubbed the paint off and revieled the copper. i used this vivi almost all the time as it had my all day vape which is grants vanilla & custard, so it had some stick
