Problems with new Nova head

Decided to stick a new head on my Nova (my last one) because it's been tasting off recently.
Stuck the new head on and the LT shows 9.7ohm.
Hit the fire button for a sec and it shows 2.2.
Hit the fire button again and it shows 9.7.

Taken it apart and when dry burning within a second or so two of the coils glow red ad the rest stays dark.

I'm guessing there's a problem with this head and it needs to be rewicked?
Hotspot?

Shame it's not something I have the equipment for.

I'm guessing no more Nova till I get some replacement heads

Oh well bugger it, gone off the Nova anyway
Everything seems to taste off in it and it burns juice to easily.

Back to my DC cartos

Have to say Kibbs, if you stick a decent carto in a tank IMO beats any kind of clearo

Got to agree though the DC cartos are the bomb, the do seem to lose their edge fairly quickly (one of mine after a week has gone from 1.5ohm to 2.3) but it has been worked very hard the past week and at £1.75 meh, bin it after a fortnight
I've got a DC clearo as well but not a fan, the mouthpiece gets waay to hot when caining it!
Numerous SC clearos sat under my desk feeling unloved.. all of them gurgle and leak juice into my battery connector so can't be arsed with them unless it's a crisis time.

With Cartos I'm back to where I started by just XL DC versions of them

Kibbster if you want them rewicked and can send them to me I will do them for you and send them back. Have done all of mine a couple of times now and it improves the flavour no end, I get no burnt taste at all. Let me know if you want to and I will pm you my address.

Use a needle and move the coils about a bit Kibbster - often sorts it out.

Seems a shame to waste a Nova because of bad heads.

yeah i did notice when i stripped mine they are not wound with precision and love lol, Its worth a try moving the coils about as Jason said.

Doesn't seem to work
Still getting 9.9 until I fire it up and then it drops to 2.2-2.4.
All the coils are heating now though.

I thought one of mine was bad on 3.6 lol couldnt test mine when running though only had it ego-t battery.
