Hi all
I have tried two different types of ecig cheapos including E-Lites, i have read through the board and am confused by what to upgrade to. I smoke about 50 normal cigs a week at work only (Menthols).
I want something that is easy to use and fill and will last a while as im a bit broke.
Riva 1100 best buy do you think ?
Also who is best stockist to deal with
Thanks in advance

If it's only for work that averages on 10 ciggy's a day based on 5 days of work so i would say the Riva 1100, nice price aswell, my partner loves the Riva and has never had a problem with it.
Ooops, Hi and #welcome2#

Either of those kits would be ideal. Whichever u choose will blow an e-lite away. And whilst your on the Vape Escape site, have a look at the Griswalds liquids.. The Arctic range are great menthols!!

ok thanks for replies folks im just a bit confused over cartomisers and clearomisers and atomonisers, i just want a simple set up where one pours the E Juice into whatever and starts vaping without having to pay for accessories every couple of months. Does the Riva fit that bill If i buy the deluxe kit what other accessories do i need other than juice ? i must say even though the E- Lites get slated since smoking them i can not stand a real Ciggie now, weird aint it and to finish does anyone know of a retailer in the north east of england that sells juice ?

The Riva does fit that bill. The difference between catomisers/clearomisers/atomisers, is just mainly a matter of preference. Have a look at these 2 vids to show you how easy it is to fill cartomisers & clearomisers -
Filling cartomisers -
Filling clearomisers -
Are you looking for an offline vendor for e-liquids in the North East?

The Riva is just the name for the battery, you can screw whatever you want (almost) onto the top to take the liquid. The two simple choices are cartos (cartomisers) and Clearos (Clearomisers.) Cartos are a tube with one end you fill and the other end you screw into the battery. Inside is a foam that soaks up liquid and stores it. Pluses are it's easy, clean and gives good taste, doesn't leak The downside is they are a bugger to clean, can run dry and burn the foam tainting them forever and you can't see when they are running dry. Clearos are like mini tanks with wicks, you unscrew the mouthpiece and fill them, screw the top back on and screw the bottom onto your battery. Pluses are they are easy to fill and clean and hold more liquid than a carto, you can also see how much is left. Downsides are they can leak occasionally, they and I find can burn the juice if you like higher voltages... not a problem with a Riva battery. Hope that helps a little and welcome! Just to add the are called clearomisers and cartomisers because they are an atomiser in a clear tank or an atomiser in a cartridge. As opposed to separate atomisers with tanks or cartridges, they are all in one.

Does the Riva fit that bill If i but the deluxe kit what other accessories do i need other than juice ? i must say even though the E- Lites get slated since smoking them i can not stand a real Ciggie now, weird aint it Hello Please realise that with ALL e-cigs there are certain parts that are "Consumable" the batteries have a finite lifestyle (usually 300-500 charges) and the bit that contains the heating coil that vaporises the liquid which are 3 main types; 1.Atomiser+Cartridge which are pretty old hat now 2.Cartomisers, also been around for a long time that are now superseded by 3. Clearomisers, most people now use clearomiser type; Among the best out there are what is known as clearomisers and the most popular are the Ego Vision cartomisers CE4 and CE5 the second is the Vivi Nova which come in 2 sizes (capacity of liquid). You can expect around 2 - 4 weeks life in a coil, with a little bit of maintenance/cleaning. The beauty of the Vivi Nova's and CE5's is that you can easily swap just the coil part bit over avoiding throwing the whole clearomiser away, they only cost about £2 each. so £2 for 2 weeks use is not bad! and if you have 2 batteries that you swap between 12 - 18 months is not bad either! Just remeber how much you spent on ciggies/baccie in a month.

Always a good idea too have at least two of everything. Backups of backups Also means you can have more than one flavour on the go at any one time Although you'll end up like me with tons of clearos and cartos kicking around half full of unknown liquids that you have no idea what they are till you stick em on a batt and try them;)

As you also get the 5 cartomisers with the Riva kit from Vape escape, there is no real need to buy another clearomiser straight away - see which you prefer first. Although loads of fols prefer the clearomisers, I still prefer the draw on cartomisers - much closer to the draw on a real cig IMHO. There is a map on this thread showing offline (B&M) vendors, but nothing in the North East at the moment - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=shopping&action=display&thread=15653&page=1
