Tobacco eliquid

When I got my e-cig I got some virginia rolling flavour which at the time was very similar tasting to the rolling tobacco I was smoking.
Now my sense of smell and taste are returning the liquid is very sweet and leaves a funny sweet aftertaste, do all tobacco flavoured liquids have a sweet taste/aftertaste to them?

As you said because your taste buds are returning to normal that is why you will taste other new things. where as when you stopped it was all muted by the smokes.

A good nice one is, Royal Vapours RY4 'special'. My all day vape at the moment.

I can't stand that sweet tobacco taste, nothing like rollies!

I find tobacco juice that says 'black' or 'dark' doesn't have the sickly sweet taste to it!

I have yet to find an RY4 that I like, they're too sickly too

I like the hangsen USA mix which isn't very sweet.

im not a lover of sweet tobacco flavours either,as karma said any with dark in title is usually not sweet,another is HS storm but so many vendors vary on flavour that its alot of trial and error ,i found buying small samplers very useful.

Yes, a good few of those "Virginia" types are sweet.
There's no shortage of dry(er) ones to choose.

There are also lots of complex tobacco flavours with nutty tones or other characteristics. RY4 is sweet (vanilla/caramel-ish). Some have "malty" flavours, others...well it's an endless search.

I have to say, Hangsen "Storm" is good, whereas the "Delight" tastes of pepper to me (yuk....)
Triphammer does some interesting stuff.
Pipe sauce is very sweet (to me).

I chose some deliberately dry ones a while back from Liberty Flights.
Luxury Blend, USA Mix....but dry often means bland t.b.h.

Currently, I enjoy 1/2 Grizwald's "Golden Burginia" mixed with 1/2 something like Desert Ship or Gold and Silver. I LOVE Golden Burginia, but it's quite caramel-y and malty too, so I prefer it less flavoursome.

djs,just out of curiosity ,whose gold & silver you like? my current favourite is hangsen from total e liquid, ive found this to vary widely depending on vendor.

I got some Tobacco, walnut and blackberry (I think) juice from Alchemists cupboard and found it very "smokey"
Too smokey for me, didn't find it sweet like RY4.

But I'm more of a fruit and pudding type vaper so not much help, sorry.

Could always add a bit of menthol to it or a fruit flavour, cherry goes very well with tobacco and i know lots of people on here have found great mixes by mistake, give it a go and see what happens.

My G&S is from ukecigstore. I think it's Hangsen. On it's own, I don't rate it. As a mixer, it works well.

do yourself a HUGE favour and don't just mix it with menthol !! get some sample-sized juices (many vendors do them, RoyalVapour (Feri) on here does some well-liked packs) and try different ones. For example, I never use a "tobacco" flavour by itself, I use them as a base to mix cherry, strawberry, whatever with, in a ratio of 5 parts tobacco to 2 parts whatever as a good starting point and take it from there There's almost unlimited possibilities out there to try, so have fun, experiment, and find some gems of mixes that YOU like, it doesn't matter if no-one else in the world does

Oh, and only do a ml or two at a time when trying mixes, or you'll find yourself either wasting loads of juice or ending up with a big batch of not-very-nice mix to use up.....

hate to say i use 100% vg and have added candy floss to Virginia,love it .....cherry and strawberry as well

if you want to give it a bit more of a tobacco hit,.... add only 1 drop of leisureliquid Virginia fire cured[ and i mean 1drop to 10mil] and leave to steep for 2 days, if you do i will stress drop i uhmm did 10 to mix and it smelt like clarified butter yewwwww
