Since I've been using my Vamo, I've used Vivi Novas with 2.4ohm heads, set around 5w-7w, getting loads of flavour and vapour. I've had no problems at all until this weekend, when I decided to replace the heads that needed changing with some of the 1.8ohm and 2.8ohm heads that I've got mounting up.
After filling the Novas with fresh juice, I put one with a 1.8 head on my vamo, containing a newly charged battery. Starting off at 5w, I had to take it right up to 11w before I got even the slightest hint of vapour. I tried again with another Nova and 1.8 head, that was the same. I then tried two 2.8 heads and then two 2.4 heads and still nothing.
I've tried different batteries, tried lifting the connector thingy and cleaned all the connections but am still getting nothing other than the tiniest bit of vapour, even at 12w. All the Novas are working fine on my other batteries.
I'm at a loss of what to try next. Any suggestions please?

Did you wipe dry the breather tube before you attach another head? and also push the atty bottom plate up so that when you attach a new head it sits well in place..just a rule of thumb I do with vivi novas works for me. Also if you have a clone (fake) then the heads may not be sitting right to get a good contact or it could be just a bad batch. Hope it helps I'm new ish at this my self but if it works for me I tend to do it all the time (OCD)

I imagine you have tried another battery in the Vamo?, also check that your still in "NO2" mode, hold and press one of the buttons till it changes, it may change to No1 which would indicate it was in No2, just press button again till the display reads No2 (approx 8-10 secs)

Everything was clean and dry and as far as I know, all connected properly, Taz. I've been stung by buying fake Vivi Novas so will only get Visions now. They all work okay on my other batteries so it has to be something with the Vamo, or something I'm doing wrong. I just don't know what though. Thanks anyway.

can you read the resistance? Not sure but if its not working at 12w then the resistance will probably read 9.9 which I think is a dud head could be wrong think I read that somewhere. But as she's getting a slight vape the coil could be weak.....just throwing stuff out there

Yes Skwoddy, it's definitely in No2 mode. I've tried it with one 18350, two 18350 and the 18650 batteries.

Try switching to Volts, go through a few different voltages vaping, and then back to Watts, It may have got confused and reset perhaps

can you read the resistance? Is that when you hold the right hand button down and it shows numbers and a horseshoe symbol?

Hi Jeanie yes fire the vamo and then hold the righthand button down for 2-3 secs and it will show the resistance of the atomiser. Sounds to me like a bad connection between the vivi and the 510 connector - if it reads 9.9 then this is probably the problem.
