Try pushing the centre post of the vivi down a bit.....It may not be making good contact with the battery.....if you look at the bottom of the vivi where it screws into the Vamo, the post should be just proud of the bottom

Switch back to No2, Pressing both buttons for a few seconds will change the device to volts from watts and vice versa

Right, it seems to be working in voltage mode but not wattage mode. So what will be causing that?

That does suggest a problem with the electronics then. How old is it ?
Contact the vendor you got it from and explain the problem.

What resistance reading are you getting jeannie when you press the right hand small button and keep it pressed for about 5 seconds? With the 1.8 heads it is reading at 2.1 and 2.4. The 2.4 heads are 2.6 and 3.0. The 2.8 heads both show at 2.8

Apart from that I cant really think of anything else It`s just so odd for it to be okay before the head change and bad after it.

The one thing you can say about the Vamo is that the electronics have been pretty reliable. There must be thousands out there now, but few reported problems with the electronics.

It's one of the new springs, which I'd been using about a week or so and it had been working fine until I changed the heads, although I wouldn't have thought that would've caused it to go wrong. It does seem to be working ok in voltage mode but not in wattage mode, so I wonder why that is?
No Bomber, it's got one of the hot springs.

Glad that the vv worked at least, suppose you could try leaving the batteries out for a few hours now, see if it resets or something.
Perhaps give the unit a gentle tap against something, im wondering if there may be a dry solder joint somewhere.
