Laptop USB ports are often have lower power output than PC ones, so don't deliver enough oomph to charge the batts in reasonable time.

My tip is don't screw atomisers/cartomisers onto the battery too tightly. I've seen people say this lots of times. Thats exactly right, most damage is done to atties when they are screwed down too tight onto a battery, firstly you run the risk of joining the contacts inside the attie causing a short that will then in turn take out the switch on a riva type battery or very quickly heat up a battery on a mechanical type mod and secondly you run the risk of pushing in the center contact post on a riva type battery so that other atties won't make contact. Just screw them on till they start to make contact and then stop Why proper instructions are never included with all this equipment is beyond me, it would save so many people so much trouble.

My tip is always make sure you have some tissue to hand , if you overfill it's a god send , apart from the fact your terminals always need a good wipe every now and again

A little tip I learned when using prefilled filled cartos when your starting out.
Some seem to be very dry to start with, check that the filler isnt dry as a bone or you`ll burn it out real fast. Prime it with a couple of drops pg mix by using the condom method.
When you`re ready move onto branded unfilled cartos like the Boge SR.

I have four tips the first is to always make sure you have a spare battery-I know it's already been said but saying it again from experience, secondly if you're going for the cig-a-likes it's so worth splashing out that little bit extra thirdly if you're buying online always do a Google search for the name of the company followed by the word discount code - lots of e cig shops seem to offer 10% off. ANd lastly when I refill a cartomiser I always do it over a sanitary towel (clean of course) and then blow through the hole before I attatch it to my battery. IT@s a lot more absorbant than a wad of tissue paper and also one can be used for many refills if you rewrap it in it's packet and therefore better for the environment (sorry if that last tip is a bit tmi)

For those days when you just can't seem to taste anything - keep a bottle of menthol liquid handy. It's a godsend when your tastebuds are on holiday When you switch back to your favourite juice it will taste fab again

Screw your cartos on by the drip tip, that way you shouldn't screw it in too tight.

If you're using v3 rebuildable clearo's always unscrew them with the drip tip pointing to the floor. A couple of times whilst unscrewing them I've accidentally left the base of the clearo on the battery and instead unscrewed the tube covering my battery and myself in e liquid not to mention wasting a clearo full of juice!!!

Excellent tips folks.
I started vaping with the PCC kit, it was alright but started the proper smoking again.
This time i bought a decent bit of kit from TECC- Joyetech ego-c and it is superb. Hoping it works this time and even roped some friends in.
