I am impressed that these atomisers are so good that you do not crave cigarettes anymore, though now I mention it, still something about the process of the roll up and the lighter and the burn.... but still... the vaporisers are pretty damn good, I would recommend them to anyone.
Just the question of the wicks material perhaps. No funding for any studies on each particular device... counter to big pharmas approved pathways of special anti-depressant, patches, gum etc. (though I have read some studies on pg vapour on mice that say is is safe, not the same as tests on vapor composition from each e-cig device)
suppose the question is, is it a safe-ish way to get nicotine? vs. tax losses from not buying cigarettes...
Like I felt perhaps if I really wanted to, I could have given up yesterday, having broken the cycle of roll-ups, but these vaporisers and the flavoured liquids are very nice.
yeah, big up to, ecignet.co.uk, AAEC, and code aaec20, cool.
(of course I am aware you can become addicted to patches, or gum, or snuss or whatever...)

PG is also in Nicorette spray thingies that have been available for years. I wouldn't worry too much about it mate. I don't think vaping is very detrimental to health. Well done on the 2 days.

Hi Paul, welcome to the group and well done on stopping the stinkies I was a rollie smoker myself for many years, it's been so long since I've touched one that I don't know if I could even roll one now! LOL! I've not had any ill effects from vaping as yet, I've done it for quite a long time now and have no wish to stop. Obviously the only sure way to protect your health 100% is to give up everything nicotine related. The addiction to nicotine is already there from smoking, you're just changing the nicotine delivery system to a healthier and of course nicer smelling/tasting one.

Just the question of the wicks material perhaps...... ...suppose the question is, is it a safe-ish way to get nicotine? vs. tax losses from not buying cigarettes... I've been doing some reading on wicking materials - it's one of the reasons I don't like Clearos (specifically the use of Silica in wicks when exposed to heat). If you have ANY doubts about silica wicks, then it may be best to not dry-burn them from what I've read. I can't find anything specifically problematic with them, but I've worked with Silica and I don't fancy using it in something that heats up. (This is purely my opinion).

Was reading elsewhere that cotton candle wick, and even hemp string can be used, and medical grade cotton dressings wound, which are all supposedly better. A scientific study is required I think...
Once I get some dismantle-able clearos I'll check how easy to fit own wicks, think I'll go for hemp string if I can find some, maybe cotton wicks, which I read you should boil first.
but then, the studies that have been done, say even then its better than the carcinogens in cigarette smoke... ah... but what smoke... I was smoking american spirit, roll-ups with a filter and then through another tar filter. and cheap baccy as bought in europe.
would like to see a real scientific comparitive study.
anecdotally, I am coughing up a lot less brown gack. in just 2 days. like not even 1/10 probably.
and smoking less, as a burning cig tends to be smoked as one, but the vape is always on hand for just one puff or so.
only doing about 2-3ml a day of juice. about 15mg average. (mix of 12-18-24)
Oh yeah... and probably saving about 50 minutes a day not rolling cigs.

My fave thing about vaping is not having to sit and roll 10 tabs before I set of on a long car journey, not having the car and myself stink of smoke when I get to the other end as well!

I remember those car journeys,I also remember knocking 250 grammes of tobacco over myself in the car, this is only bettered by trying to pick up my lavatube before it gets stuck under the brake peddle

I was always to lazy to roll a load, I used to roll while I was driving I certainly don't miss the mess all over the floor and steering wheel!
